I think they have had more band members than an iOM census form.

Still no ZZ Top for TT - maybe next year.

I'll save my 40 odd quid and get a handful of DVDs and a pizza in - off to HMV ..

The core of the band - Gillespie, Innes, Duffy have been in the band since at least the first LP in 1987. The drummer since 1997.

The bassist role has changed a bit. They also bring in other people to refresh the sound for an album or so.

7 top ten albums plus 2 that got to number 12.

 

17 top 40 singles.

A failed covers band says Woody. Name a single cover version Primal Scream have actually released. I can't think of one.

That's a bit of a Catch 22. 

 

Unhappy that bands playing the Villa aren't successful enough. 

And your proof is that they're playing the Villa. 

 

Actually, I think that the booking is to squeeze in an extra date midweek during the festival season. Rather than have the band and crew sit around in that time.
