Beer list hasn't been updated yet but there's usually a chap who posts on here with a wonderful excel spreadsheet of all the beers rated on untapped.

How does it work? Do people just have a sip, slurp it around their mouth and then spit it out like at a wine tasting? Or do they have a half of glass of as many as possible before feeling a bit meh?

Surely the thing with a beer is that it's really just that first one which is great?

You generally but a third, half, or full pint. No spitting. I usually make a list of porters and stouts and forget to check their strengths before trying them.

Oh, and it's my annual say hello to Rhumsaa event.

It was so awful the first time it was in the Villa, and before that with the stinking cow shit hotpot at the masonic hall. Wish they'd bring the one in the Falcons Nest back.

Villa is a lot better with the beer and food in the Royal Hall.

I was of the same opinion but last years was spot on

Equally I wish the Falcon's Nest did there's again as it was an enjoyable day out

Far better organised now. Teething problems sorted. 160 beers, 29 ciders and 16 perries and Betty's pies and sausages and all local ingredient stuff.

I'd guess anyway :)
