I think Activity will prove more User Friendly than Unread Content in time.

People always complain when a website changes its design then in a few months wouldn't go back.

It's ok you're the odd one out, in that little quartet.

There's still a shitload of DB tasks grinding away so any weird anomalies you might see with numbers and stuff like that will likely disappear as the database is reindexed from scratch.

The Unread Content is effecively View New Posts yes, but the new software allows you to create multiple streams to put up there. So you can create a stream that only shows topics you've started, or contributed in for example which you can have alongside the all purpose Unread Content. Someone might find it useful.

There was a way of filtering out specific sub-forums from View New Posts, e.g. I wasn't really interested in the Gaming sub-forum.  I can't see a way of doing that on Unread Content but thought I'd raise it to see if anyone else has an idea.

Try this

Then save it as a new stream or as the default "Unread Content" stream.
