Maybe Star Carter should put a bid in for the “ Kathleen and May” ex Onedin Line,

That would be worth going on for a trip round our island

Perhaps DEAD have bought it so Rob Callister can get to the cruise ships anchored in the bay, in the manner befitting a leading MHK.

They should have listened. I advised them to paint it orangey-brown this year.

Well whatever the problem is it is a shame. Been a few years since I was on it last and the young fella doesn't remember. Hope they get it repaired or replaced.

He's an 'anchor' in the upsy-downy world of shipping at the DoE.

Had a trip booked with them later this month. I was told it was damaged in the gales and repairs were ongoing. Either way, I wont be expecting anyone will part with cash unless it's to make razor blades from it now.

I seem to recall an article saying that the MV Karina was having problems obtaining either a certificate of seaworthiness or a licence for operating in UK coastal waters.  I have tried to google it but now can't find anything.
