Smoke/fire Etc
Bored rigid so read almost every page of today's Examiner. I read Fenella in the same way one pokes a sore tooth...twisted sort of pleasure in seeing if the bad bits are still as bad! Anyway, she made a comment about a friend noticing how many people are going for treatment for cancer and it was explained away that perhaps because we live in such a small community we actually know - or know of - people who are going for treatment. If you lived in the UK the chances are that you wouldn't know anyone in the hospital where you were going for treatment is the story.... I can see that in Liverpool - 10 floors in the main hospital alone, aside from all the clinics...its quite awe inspiring.I've started to wonder about the figures, so far in the circle of our friends have been 1 recent death, and another who we knew of through a relative, I know of 2 people for breast cancer recently, 1 person having major surgery through cancer, and not to mention the 2 or 3 people we see on alternate weeks when we have to stay overnight in Liverpool - is this just coincidence? I hope so. Another friend had a scare last week and things seem to be ok, fingers crossed.Getting it all together for another big whammy this Wednesday. I'm so proud of my beautiful precious child, it almost lifts me a foot off the ground. i find myself smiling like a loon when I think of it. Simply brilliant. My work here on earth is almost done
