Wednesday April 2nd

It is actually 4.15pm on April 1st. Today began just like any other day. I woke at around 4 a.m and I noticed the birds were singing at 4.45 this morning which is the earliest so far this year. I came in to the office at around 8 a.m. this morning and began writing just like any other day. The phone went at about 8.15 which was my Mother to tell me that Dad had just died. He was not feeling too good the day before and yesterday morning I called an ambulance as he had been in pain all night. I was very close to Dad and life at present seems shallow and its going to be a long week. I don’t feel like blogging at present and I am not sure when or if I will continue. On the other hand, who knows, tomorrow the desire may well return. But that will be for tomorrow to decide. Right now I don’t feel inclined to blog. There are many things I could write regarding Dad. But for now I am unable to share them in a public arena. I want to thank all of you for reading my blog and, for all the support you have given me. I hope to return to the blogging scene again but right now I simply cannot say when.

Until goodness knows when Tom Glassey News at 17.25 On the banks of the Silverburn River.
