  1. Oh dear. Not the case at all, there's been no decision on currency preference for indyref2, nor is using the euro a condition of membership however often yoons say it's the case. Maybe ask Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Poland,Romania, Sweden
  2. i was at a business forum in london last week, they had a snp msp giving a speech who said they had a fully costed plan my question was- how will you fund the 70% of lost income from the UK? how much would the trade tariff be to trade with the UK? how much would scotland have to pay to access the road, rail and air networks? she couldn't answer Not surprised, if your question makes no sense.
  3. ms krankie has not got the bottle or the support Nor, in fact, the stupidity. She's just grandstanding. May should tell her to get on with it. The bill to go for indyref2 is going through Holyrood now. Doh! "Krankie" - oh ma sides Quite amazing, around the world you see fair comment on the mess the UK is in and amazement at the first indyref vote, but in the IoM, a place with so much in common with Scotland, and sitting on the outside able to see, you get fools like you two.
  4. Scotland will now go for IndyRef2, I'd be amazed if Sinn Fein havn't got something up their sleeve after their recent shenanigans, and latest polling in Wales looks very bad for Labour there. England may finally get their independence, I doubt many will be sorry to see them go?
  5. Ballater is 45 miles west of Aberdeen, 15 miles east of Balmoral. 35 miles from me, but by the time my facebook had lit up with the news she was gone. On such small margins does life change
  6. Very true IMO, it's why I so very quickly felt at home there. Gill was a hugely readable and talented writer even if not always one I'd agree with.
  7. But from a relatively low base.[1] It's not that there is no demand. Historically - whenever OPEC has cut production in attempt to increase prices they have lost market share and then struggled to regain that. The OPEC countries currently enjoy a market share at levels not seen since the mid 70s - which is presumably why they feel they can gamble a little.[2] [1] Oh sorry, I thought you said continue to fall? [2] Oh sorry, I thought you said demand does not exist?
  8. The price will briefly spike and then continue to fall in 2017. The demand does not exist. And they cannot keep cutting production because ultimately that means them losing market share. Continue to fall? It's been on the rise for a year and has basically doubled since January. If there's no demand how can cutting production lose market share? This is all very confused.
  9. Incorrect. $pb had to go up, Saudi's are running out of cash, they need better return, as do all oil producing countries.

    Fore!

So because it's not your thing it should be scrapped? How much revenue do local parks bring in? That would be zero, so all cost. Hmm, should they all be dug up? There's plenty of etcetera's There are however too many island courses, digging up the only Muni is not the answer however.
  11. Because what is news is subjective. Who is interviewed,?the questions that are asked, the counterpoint and analysis of what is being said all require a point of view. Journalists and anthropologists quickly realise they aren't disembodied observers but consciously involved in forming the story the dao. CH4 do a pretty good job, I'd put them up there of all the TV media. Print media, I'd say none in the british isles.
  12. Really? Says the BBC maybe? They are now astonishingly Tory, full of party members. Their coverage of Corbyn and the Indyref was straight out of Tory HQ.
  13. I'm highlighting the amazing differences in attitude between the Isle of Man and the rest of the world. So you'd like to go with German speed limits?
  14. Just logged on to find their website gone. A very sad day as it was the only Manx bookmaker.
  15. there isn't (none that has any effect) removal of the barnett formula after the election will get rid of the snp certainly will, they'd win a landslide in 2016, and follow that with a huge YES in Indyref2 in your dreams It is indeed. Because that would be what'd happen zero chance of another indy, snp cant even stick to the promise they made What promise? The "vow"? Oh no, wait, that was from project fear, and has already been torn to bits. Huge chance of another indy ref, and the more Camoron, Cleg & Milliband talk about Scots having no right to a say in Westminster, the more likely it becomes.
  16. It's very possible that they will be elected as a minority govt propped up on an issue by issue basis by the nationalists. The average of all of the opinion polls points to this outcome. The majority of people in Britain have no sympathy for what they think of as tax havens. They're caught up in bogus 99% vs 1% memes - and a conspiracy mindset in general. Most people in Britain do not understand the arguments and are not looking for debate on the issue. They simply think that they're being conned by people who don't pay their taxes and companies which are based offshore. And they think that the offshores should be told what to do. Plus - they're all chattering away to each other on the social media and selling these ideas to each other. It's right across the classes too - the modern version of the shop-floor Marxism of the 1970s. The current Labour Party broadly represents this thinking.
  17. Ah yes, not a clue about reality, but lets play up guffy stereotypes.

  19. All politicians without excption. And TOTAL independence. Everything. It would be fun to watch them sink into the depths of poverty. Depravity they already engage in. Grow up you ignorant stupid cunt
  20. LOL! I'm not dissatisfied, just loath the Scots! Good for you. Presumably based on nothing other than bigoted ignorance, or did you once lose a boyfriend to a Scotsman?

  22. It's pretty funny right now watching the unionist parties bleating about the unfairness of the voting system with the SNP looking to win over 80% of seats on around 50% of the vote, yet it was fine when the SNP were picking up around 10% of seats on 25% of the vote. Of course all they will do is bleat, because as a whole across the UK it massively favours Liebour and tories to maintain the status quo.
  23. Well apparently that is one and the same.
