Would anyone know if IOM has a double taxation agreement with Ireland? ie. If I live in Ireland, but work for an IOM company and pay my income tax to IOM gov - do I still need to pay income tax in Ireland? I did try to research it myself, but it is not at all clear..

Scales then thought he would try to open an operation @ Clinches - but pending his case, that never happened and the owner of Clinches - Raj (Oddbins) is doing himself under the name Bubble limited. Raj has cropped up before... will be interesting to see if his name comes up in the trial in November.

Yes - Furbate ltd was the company that they were both directors - Rumi Sethna resigned from the company that then made the company bankrupt - Scales was still a director. so I would think Scales will be barred from being a company director. He is up again in court on the 14th July for a different matter - Civil Summary & Small Claims procedures and Civil Case - Ballasalla Properties Limited against Jason Scales - type of claim is 'possession' https://www.courts.im/ Maybe he hasn't been paying his rent in the house he has been staying in at Ballasalla I think he has a habit of not paying rent as his last landlord made him bankrupt - Rumi Sethna who is the guy that developed Sheridian apartments when Jason Scales was 'renting' the Penthouse.

Scales isn't doing himself any favours by posting these allegations on Twitter seeing he is the biggest gangster of them all - allegedly Hope he has his suitcase packed, though.

It doesn’t matter they only have to prove fraud and then I guess a whole new case will open up in the UK under UK Securities legislation for lying to the UK stock exchange in order to substantiate a bid that affected the market price of a listed company. wow - interesting..

I think it is beyond the bounds of credibility..I am sure the prosecution would have thought of that before pressing charges

No surprise it is shit as the iom govement are involved who havent a clue about anything..ofcourse they think they know better,maybe it has something to do with the alleged backhanders a few people have received for awarding the contract to V.

Strand street sums up the iom..not a very cosmopolitan place - just take a look at the lack of good bars/restaurants/clubs compared to anywhere else in the world! The place seems to be dying on its feet and we know who to blame for that ! the usless goverment we have - which are all corrupt anyway - allegedly i might add otherwise this post may be removed.
