  1. So how many of you feel the same in IOM SKY NEWS Business, More than half of UK workers feel their boss is not up to the job, according to new research. Most employees regularly take decisions at work they do not feel qualified or trained to make, leaving them feeling stressed out. Many workers blame their bosses, accusing them of a lack of competence, a study for the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) said. One of the biggest concerns was that employees felt their bosses were unapproachable, with two-thirds saying they wanted to ask their boss for help making a decision recently but had not been given the opportunity.
  2. Try these www.a3islandmarquees.com/ or the hilton hotel forgot the new name.
  3. Found this interview by there HR boss, http://www.hrmagazine.co.uk/hr/interviews/1015097/interview-liz-bell-hr-director-b-q So it looks like you have to be 18-24 years of age to get a job so any older you'll have no luck. You will find in life most 18-24 yr olds hate being at work, so when it comes to customer service and aftersales with someone who calls to complain you find most will choose to ignore it. But you will always find a unhappy work place comes from the top down.
  4. It looks like Monkey boy you should of checked out your rights due to the TV, As to electrical goods have to perform for a number of years. As to " False economy " in my experience to here as soon as something goes wrong like our washing machine where the drum kept coming off all i got from the shop here was its nothing to do with us you have to sort it yourself with the warranty company, in which i did and got a new one straight away. And at the moment my friend this is happening to a friend with a used car being sent to and throw from garage to garage. Back to the car. It will not be long for a independent garage on the Island to approach tesco and sign up. Tesco Cars is directing its used car customers to 900 independent garages for servicing through an arrangement with National Service Network (NSN) which says it can offer prices 30% cheaper than franchised dealers. QUOTE John O’Hanlon, chief executive of Ridgeway Group, told AM: “As an immensely strong brand, we must be cognisant of the threat that Tesco represents. “As an organisation, Tesco is highly respected, has great resources available and rarely fails in any endeavour it pursues. It clearly believes there is a gap appearing in our market.” O’Hanlon said the Tesco Cars business model appeared to be straightforward in terms of sourcing the vehicle and then selling it for a small margin while making sure it offers valuable add-ons in terms of finance and insurance. Tesco are buying from major leasing companies, the likes of Black Horse and Lombard Finance these companies will be more than happy to sell to tesco due to off loading hundreds of cars which are only sat around on redundant air fields like Upper Heyford I know as i've been there and seen for myself 1.000's of un-used cars. You will find alot of main dealers struggle to match their point of sale.
  5. Was looking around at used cars when i thought i would try Tesco cars and compare the prices for like for like,The savings i found were between £1000-£2.500 and upto £5.000, most cars had less miles on but a few had higher miles. The example i looked at was a Renault Scenic 1.6 VVT Dynamique MPV less than 9000 miles 2008 year to a 2007 year here, after paying for the car to be dropped at the port which is a extra £149.00 the savings were still £2.000... Well it looks like a no brainer Oh and still to pay for the boat i will be still saving £1800...and the Mrs got her 2000 club points.
  6. Driving with snow on your car roof could land you with a £60 fine and three points on your licence. And if you find it hard to believe, check rule 229 of the Highway Code. Police say motorists could be prosecuted for careless or inconsiderate driving if they are involved in an accident and it is deemed that snow on the roof was a factor. 7. is at home with the kids playing in the snow. Unless you're my boss, in which case, I'm at work.
  8. Hyundai is recalling 17,000 of its first-generation Sante Fe models produced between July 2000 and June 2003 and its Trajet produced between January 2000 and May 2004. The 17,000 affected could have a corrosion problem caused by winter road salt conditions in the UK which could affect the structural integrity of suspension trailing arms. Customers are being urged to take in their cars for inspection at their local dealership. Most vehicles will be inspected and a minor upgrade to the rear suspension trailing arms will be made, comprising of additional drainage and corrosion inhibition. Following the inspection, a small proportion of older cars will need replacement of trailing arms, which will be undertaken free of charge. For owners of these vehicles, alternative transport will be provided for the duration of the repair.
  9. I have a spare friends and family form, once you've registered you get discounts on new or pre-reg cars also any other Honda products. I also use to work for a major Honda dealership in the UK you will always get better deals across then here. I would'nt use a broker theres no need, you will always get a deal direct from dealership. I still have a few friends whom work for major dealerships in the UK ( FORD, AUDI, MAZDA AND A FEW USED CAR SITES ) 2months ago i got my mother a focus with £5800 off list price.

  14. Total to sell petrol stations Sep 10 2010 WalesOnline French oil giant Total put its estate of almost 500 forecourts up for sale today as part of proposals to exit the petrol pump market in the UK. Total, the world’s fourth largest energy group, is undertaking a review of its UK downstream operations but said it would not pull out of the country altogether as it will keep its aviation and lubricants businesses. The group, which has been selling products in the UK for 55 years, is also investing £2.5 billion in its North Sea oil and gas exploration arm. As well as 480 directly-owned forecourts, the proposed sale process covers Total’s agreement to supply 300 independent stations that carry its logo. Russian energy behemoth Gazprom has been reported as a potential buyer of the branded service stations, which currently account for 9% of the UK market, selling more than three billion litres of fuel and lubricants each year. A statement from Total UK confirmed the “strategic review” of its downstream operations – forecourts and heating oil – and that it was considering a sale.
