I am looking for people on the island that are from or can speak nederlands. I am beginning to learn nederlands as a second language as I have family connections in holland and would like to be able to converse with them in thier native tongue. I know this is a long shot as I guess there isn't a huge amount of nederlands speakers on the island. Serious people need apply lol. Personally I think the IOM Goverment should make cannabis legal for island residents only. Maybe have a membership card swipe system, where a person can only buy say 5 grams a day. Also make it so coffeeshops have to buy from a goverment based cannabis farm, so that it can be regulated. This will also cutout the drug tourism that has been mentioned before. Anyone else having really slow broadband at the moment. I live in the onchan area and my connection hasn't been over 520 kb for over a week now. I unplugged the router/telephone wire for 3 days but this has made no difference. I've also scanned my computer with mcafee (found nothing). Im buggered if I know what to do next..... .
