  1. No Problem, in fact I had a very good time in my 20/30s doing just that Nice one
  2. Quickly followed by There would probably be a Tesco's for you to do your weekly shopping in too It sort of seems to suggest you have to go back to the UK to shop at Tesco's innit? Oh I see - the original poster implied his Tesco weekly shop was his only local shopping so I though he'd be able to continue his habbits elsewhere. It's not a patch on the one stop shop though.
  3. So basically because you've seen an expensive washing machine in the MEA you don't think it's a good idea for anybody to shop local or indeed for the government to encourage it. Perhaps if prices are so wonderful in the UK you should consider going to live there, think of all the money you'd save. There would probably be a Tesco's for you to do your weekly shopping in too. Infact the only disadvantage I can see is that because the UK is such a wonderful place you may not have anything to winge about although I'm sure you'd find something. Please stop this nonsense, you are not doing you
  4. Many thanks, my pleasure. Btw why do you think I don't know there's a Tesco's on the island?

  6. No I'm not Manx, but I'm not sure if that makes a difference being Manx or not. I have an opinion on smoking weed in Amsterdam too but I'm not Dutch. I would say that the Island would make more money from that enterprise over time than from the TT or GP and we would have a steady stream of tourists all year round not just twice a year. Could be a good idea that as long as Houghton doesn't get to know about it. Any potential MHK that comes up with that one would get a few votes...it would also give the cops a bit of work to do not just for 4wks of the year. Tony, I assume from your attitude

  8. I don't know what all the fuss is about. After all some ill informed english half wit winging about something or someone manx is hardly headline news around here. Unlike most of them at least Emma Thomson has the good grace not to live here while she's doing it.
