  1. I've got to laugh watching you squirm when faced with home truths about the Island and it's disgusting part in tax dodging and money laundering. I particularly like your assumptions about how I run my business. No, I do not tax dodge though opportunities do exist and I know of one local individual in the BTR business who is creative in his using various means to offset his tax due, I do not. As for Richard, his exposure of the Manx financial sector and the effects that it was having, and just how rotten to the core it was and still is is absolutely his business because of the way that the Island actively chose to be a resource used by very dodgy tax dodging firms and even banks in the UK (and beyond) and credit to him for shining a light into a dark and disgusting corner of the world.
  2. Then you should not overtake unless the road is obviously clear. If in doubt, wait until it is obviously clear.
  3. You sit there deluding yourself. You've bought up properties creating a supply/demand inblance thereby driving up the oprices so that others who could have bought now cannot afford to and have to rent from you.Do you screen all your tenants to ensure that there rent money isn't coming from a company that deals in "immoral" activity? Also, with you being overtly racist do you only rent to white english people? Or do you apply your double standards there where it suits? As for the VAT "theft" there was nothing of the kind. Stealing something is take something that belongs to someone else without their permission. The UK government paid that money to the Isle of Man. Whether they were over paying is somewhat irrelavant and certainly not the IOM's fault. You should stop digging. Overpayment certainly was not made to the Island with the permission of the UK government.
  4. Just read the UK press for a while. Once would be proof of nothing but once the number of times that references are made to the Island - there's all the proof anyone needs. In addition as countries have tightened their own tax laws look at how the Island tax dodging and money laundering sector, cynically referee to as the financial sector, has been forced to wither on the vine. So, in summary, fuck all proof.Just as everyone thought. LOL! You're funny! Just do a bit of research and if you really think that the Island is not a tax dodgers and money launderers haven be prepared for a shock. Alternatively just read some of the reports written by my good friend Richard Murphy of The Tax Justice Network. When it comes to the Island and it's tax dodging "he's a dude who really knows where his towel is" (to paraphrase Ford Prefect, of Hitchhikers Guide fame).

  7. Institutions in London, but they use offshore resources such as the Island to carry out the disgusting business.
  8. There is nothing immoral about my purchases. I force no one to rent from me. I've added value to properties and in so doing enabled more people to live comfortably and we'll in properties they could not afford if it came to buying them before being refurbished and split into properties of multiple occupation so nothing immoral there. If anything highly moral especially as I could have invested in very much higher yield areas. There is immorality in the world but if anything by my actions it is ever so slightly less immoral and as for the Island the VAT theft in itself is disgusting, it was known about for years that it was taking place on theisland yet no one was hhonest enough to do anything about it, and the collusion with people and businesses that were using the Manx tax haven and money laundering schemes hardly stands out as anything in the least bit moral and if anything contributed to the dishonesty of others.
  9. The best person to answer that would be her victim.
  10. It's because most are anything but that so many Pakistani (happy?) men abuse so many of our children. That's terrifying. Can you provide a link to the stories about children in the Isle of Man ('our' children) being abused by Pakistani men please? You overlook where I live, the mainland.
  11. Really, give up. If the Isle of Man reverted back to being a nation of farmers and reliant on tourism you'd be fucking moaning about the island being a nation of farmers and reliant on tourism. YOU are involved on a daily basis in immoral activity through what you purchase in the shops you shop in. That is a fact. Also, you rent out houses to people. Taking advantage of those that are trapped in the vicious circle of paying your inflated rents thus meaning they cannot afford to get on the property ladder (a ladder you've pushed prices up on due to owning more than one property). The world is an immoral place Spook. You contribute to it. I do too and I've no issue with it. As far as the Isle of Man goes it is no more immoral than any other place. In fact, it is positively ethical compared to the UK, where you live and take your income from. In total denial aren't you.
  12. Snaipyr, Putting aside your asinine insult the views that you present on this matter are wrong and worse, show a total lack of moral compass. But then, to find a moral compass amongst the people who thrive on financial immorality on the Island is now harder to find than it ever was because it would seem to now even affect people in the gutter.
  13. But what about all of his peers who knew what the dirty SOB was up to yet said zilch?
  14. It's because most are anything but that so many Pakistani (happy?) men abuse so many of our children.
  15. In the immortal words of Mandy Rice Davies "Well he would, wouldn't he?"
  16. It certainly shows the kind of person she is. If she was prepared to lie about that --- draw your own conclusions.
  17. Disgusting. I just wish that the Island wasn't involved in such dirty businesses.Really, you do spout an awful lot of shit. He does. I think he's borderline delusional. For some reason he finds it acceptable in his head to leave behind a dirty, immoral island and move to a country which houses the global epicentre of money laundering. He's a tad confused. There are without any question a considerable number of institutions and businesses in the UK who engage in money laundering, but to do this they use places such as the Island amongst others that facilitate what they do. therein lies the difference.
  18. Disgusting. I just wish that the Island wasn't involved in such dirty businesses. Really, you do spout an awful lot of shit. Well I'd rather spout it than spend my life living off it.
  19. Disgusting. I just wish that the Island wasn't involved in such dirty businesses.
  20. If you don't like how our government govern our country the answer is simple. GET OUT OF THE COUNTRY.
  21. Really this thread should read 'London property being used to launder money' .
  22. Lol, you've been supping liquid. Glass remains a liquid though it exhibits the properties of a solid from a mechanical perspective.
  23. Sand is refined until it is virtually pure silica and is then fused until it becomes a liquid that then cools. Glass remains a liquid.
