  1. I had mine done yesterday aswell but I had only left it 2 weeks and the lady said it wasnt long enough and that I really should have left it about 3 weeks. Although she could still do it it did'nt really turn out that well with not all the hairs coming out and I still need to shave them. The annoying thing is that you cant put anything on your legs for the rest of the day ie moisteriser or soap.

  2. I don't know what blood type I am but I don't know if I could do it as I have such an irrational fear of hospitals, doctors and nurses. I completely freaked out when I was having a blood test about the amount of blood that they were taking and the fact that a nurse was even near me. If I didn't go hysterical at the mention of doctors then I probably would at some point. I do feel bad about being selfish though :( How do you find out what blood type you are?

  3. I remember when I was 14 and worked in a shop, every time someone tried to buy alcohol I had to shout "alcohol!" and wait for someone to say it was ok. Even though I was allowed to sell cigerettes without saying anything but yet wasnt allowed to touch the lottery machine and had to get someone every time I wanted a scratch card or lottery ticket <_<.

  4. I'm usually an OK sleeper but most nights takes me more than an hour to get to sleep unless i'm really tired and then I'll fall asleep at 8 and sleep for 12 hours.

Some nights I really can't sleep and will wake up every 20 minutes which then makes me ill for the next couple of days. I always seem to wake up about twice a night to check the time, which is quite strange as it's usually the same times every night (2am and 5am)

  5. Of course not :D especially when the woman advertising it has quite obviously had a facelift.

Just thought of another advert. The one where the man opens the yoghurt and it starts to play a song. What annoys me is when he opens and closes it making the song stop and start. And when he starts to dance that just makes me reach for the remote.

  6. The Cadburys Creme Egg adverts in between the breaks of Coronation street. It drives me mad! Its so annoying!

    "It's eggselent"

    "I'm eggstatic!"

I don't know why it's annoying I think it's just because the people are so smug and think it's funny. It puts me off the chocolate and watching Coronation Street all together (which isn't that much of a shame)

But I feel really sorry for the boy in the Frosties advert It makes me cringe every time I see it. The poor kid must be mortified every time it's on.

  7. In all honesty do you really think that the BNP will make any difference or impact on the IOM? BY coming on here and insulting residents of the IOM you are certainly not doing yourself any favours or putting yourself in a favourable light, which will of course put potential voters of you just because of the attitude that you seem to have against anyone with different views.

Ok so maybe some manx people don't like 'comeovers' but this also means British people aswell, i'm sure these manx people won't like the idea of the British National Party on the Isle of Man as were not British so therefore would have no relevance over here (I just thought I should clarify this as I dont think you have noticed that were not part of Britain)

Should I just wait for the abuse from the BNP members now?

(Would also be interesting to see how many of the new BNP forum members are actually in England or are English?)

  9. I'm abit confused about why the British National Party has come to ther I.O.M when we are not british? Also by saying you want to keep the 'Isle of man for manx people' how could this ever happen? Without the people that move over here the iom would not be how it is today ie the doctors, nurses, teachers etcetcetc you want to improve health and education but surely how can you possibly do this without people moving over?

White supremacy against other races is absolutely stupid, the only thing that makes us different is skin colour. If someone has a diesease and it changes their skin colour does that now make them any better or worse than what they were before?

I'm sure not many people on this Island can say that they have no english, irish, scottish etc relatives so surely that means you can never be 100% manx, even yourself probably have relatives who are not manx? I'm manx and so are my parents, but my nana and grandad were english so does that mean i have no right to live over here because I am not completely manx? Without people moving over we would all be complete inbreds.

I really dont see what the problem is with people moving over here if they have something to offer.

If the voting age is lowered I would be able to vote and I can say that I nor or anybody my age would vote for a racist party (yes racist) and you would'nt have the high majority which you claim to have (speaking to drunk manxmen means nothing as they will say anything. The Isle of Man is not as gullible and racist as you think or hope us to be.

Apoligies if this doesnt make sense.

  10. Probably the same person who took my purse last weekend  hopefully they will fall down a manhole somewhere. Did your neice report it too the police?

Can't (or don't like to) think someone would actually do that,

Yep people do do it and usually they do it too more than one person in a day. Like when mine got stolen, 2 other people said that their purse and phone had been taken from the same place.

    Nasty People

  11. Personally, I think that it is a good idea. People in 6th form are old enough to have sex so I dont really see what the big deal is about allowing them to get hold of something which they may feel to embarrased to get any where else. By having them in the toilets it is more likely that people will get them. To be honest if people really want to have sex they will do it, in some cases it wont matter if people have protection or not. The people that say 'teenagers are more likely to have sex if they have condoms' this is just not true. Like I said if people want to do it they will do it regardless.

Also people also seem have the idea that teenagers are alot more naive than we actually are. Just because condoms are available doesnt mean that we will suddenly decide to go and have sex, people will often take them 'just in case' and surely this is the mature attitude which some of you dont think we are capable of having. Ok im not saying that people wont want to have sex after they get condoms but surely having sex using a condom is better than getting STIs and pregnant (if its not wanted). It is a parents role to talk about sex but sometimes it is embarrasing for both sides and this will make it difficult for either side to bring it up.

I think some on people on here dont really understand teenagers and are making assumptions about what we are like when it comes to sex and the understanding we have of it from what they have seen on the TV etc. We know the implications etc that comes from having sex. Most of us are mature enough to handle having condoms around us without feeling the need to make them into water baloons.

Why not have condoms in schools where people have the chance to get them everyday instead of getting them somewhere which people are too embarrased to go incase they are seen or somewhere which you have to leave your details everytime you get them (ie the family planing clinic).
