  1. We have taken the difficult decision, in light of current circumstances with covid locally, to postpone the show to Good Friday 15 April 2022. All production, support and details remain for new date. FULL refunds can be made immediately emailing promoter at management@triskelpromo.com Refunds done through Paypal as per purchase. Tickets can remain current for rescheduled date if preferred. Apologies for inconvenience. We opted for a compromise to ensure everyone stays safe and hope 2022 finally gets us back to some normality. Unnecessary attention grabbing misleading title as PSM Town Hall has a great reputation for local gigs. Showcasing brand new local Thin Lizzy tribute band BAD REPUTATION. Port St Mary Town Hall Sat 18 December 2021. Triskel Promotions are busy putting together an exciting weekend of Classic Rock with the debut performance at Port St Mary Town Hall of arguably the first local Thin Lizzy tribute band. Bad Reputation, named after Lizzy’s 8th album, are a solid 4 piece combo comprising 4 well known, respected local musicians. David Cohen filling the spot of the man himself Phil Lynott on bass and vox, Kev Cleator and Alex Duke recreate the famed harmonising guitar breaks aswell as covering the Gary Moore era lead guitars with John Cleator replicating the great Brian Downey on drums. Whilst no strangers to both the town hall or to playing live, this will be their biggest show to date. The town hall has boasted great shows over the years including Davy Knowles, Nick Barlow, Psychoholic,The Strypes and the much lamented GASP. The date for the calendar is Sat 18 December. 2. Santander International is to sponsor Southern Dippers, a group of Islanders who plunge into the water around the south coast on New Year’s Day in aid of Isle of Man charities. Money raised from the 2021 dips will be going to Isle Listen, a charity that provides training in schools, the workplace, and the wider community, to empower and support Islanders with their mental health. 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of Southern Dippers, an initiative that has seen some New Year’s Day dippers complete over 80 swims, raising £60,000 to date for various good causes in the Isle of Man. 100% of funds raised go to charity and the three-year sponsorship deal from Santander International will help Southern Dippers continue keeping the fun in fundraising. Lenny Conroy, event organiser for Southern Dippers, told B365: “We are naming the 2021 dips the Santander Splash in recognition of this fantastic sponsorship. Over the past 20 years, the dips have become increasingly popular, helping us raise significant sums for Isle of Man charities. Last year’s final dip in Port Erin attracted over 300 swimmers and it would be brilliant to exceed that this time.” The Santander Splash will take place on 1st January 2021, starting at 10am in Chapel Bay, Port St Mary, followed by Inner Harbour, Port St Mary at 10.45am, then Gansey Bay at 11.30am. The last swim will take place at 12.15pm in Port Erin Bay, when participants are invited to wear fancy dress. James Geldart, Managing Director, Santander International Isle of Man Branch, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to support this invigorating community event that sees people come out whatever the weather, raising funds for great local charities. This really is something for everyone, so even if you don’t want to brave the waves, you can still join in the fun and cheer everyone on. What better way to start the New Year and support Isle Listen, who have provided invaluable mental health support in these particularly challenging times.” All funds raised from the Santander Splash 2021 will be going to Isle Listen. Donations are gratefully received, and commemorative T-Shirts will also be available for a donation. All participants enter the sea at their own risk.

  10. Apologies for another shameless plug but several months back Martin at Bushys tasked me with getting something a little different to celebrate the 20th year on the Bottleneck car park for him and his brand. Pleased to say Triskel managed to persuade Ian Broudie & LIGHTNING SEEDS to open the fortnight of 40 acts there and at Port Erin beach. The link pretty much reiterates this and more detail on when, where and how to sort tickets. Shifted half of the tickets in the first day which is most impressive.Thanks. http://www.triskelpromo.com/bushys-20th-anniversary-2017/ Direct ticket link as only available online: https://www.tickettailor.com/all-tickets/22645/0bbb/
