Was surprised that Australia still has citizens who have been stuck abroad for months because of the lack of capacity in the centres where they must stay for the 14 day quarantine: "Australia has strict border measures in place to protect the health of the Australian community.   4. "There's an element of society that doesn't value the service and will miss appointments". To be fair, a few no-shows may be partly due to hospital admin. My partner nearly missed a clinic appointment recently as his appointment letter was delivered less than 24 hours before the appointment. It arrived a full week after the date typed on the letter.

I live a sheltered life so am not sure whether thebees' reference to "lady drugs tzar" is to a member of the Russian mafia who deals drugs at night but likes a genteel social life of coffee mornings during the day or whether it is the "Director of Drug and Alcohol Policy and Research" (or whatever her title is after the reorganisation of Government Depts.) However ineffectual O'Romanova may be, I don't think it's fair to expect a candidate to comment in writing on the performance of an individual government employee, certainly not on this forum.   6. I have listened to the Manx Radio broadcasts but would like to go along to a requisition meeting for the West Douglas candidates. I haven't had this week's Courier yet to check for public notices - has anyone heard whether or not there will be a meeting?
