    Stuart Baggs

Met him a few times and quite a hyperactive guy. RIP Baggsy
  2. How do you convince a tadpole?
  3. That's not fair at all. Although he is not my cup of tea, I know lots of people that think he and his band are ace. As manxie44 said, the place was full to the brim of people who had a great night. What's the problem with that? We went to see Elton John in Noble's park, a few years back and that was superb. Packed out with everyone enjoying it. that had it's detractors too, which I could not understand. The more live performers we get here the better surely ? Oh, plenty of 'music lovers' would like it too, don't get me wrong. Just like Elton! Why do you do that? Becaus
  4. Don't see what all the fuss is about space. Yee ha, a new world spotted using advanced technology costing billions of dollars and we can't even do package holidays to the moon yet. Just close space exploration down for starters, get rid of the suits and start reducing the massive $200 trillion of debt. Waste of bloody time and money
  5. I can't see the Commissioners stumping out over £30 million that ends up in a nice relaxed and pleasant place in Liechtensein that sits merrily along with two other friends pennies hyperthetically stuck there. £30 million or so could be just one of those made up figures you think of now and again and doesn't necessarily mean that 'someone' has this type of money laid up in an account there and I couldn't imagine that there's any evidence to say otherwise....Move on, nothing to see here.

  8. I assure you? You would wouldn't you! How can you even look a person in the eye and tell them it is the truth? Everything you say on here should be taken with a pinch of salt as your past has finally caught up with you. My ears are jangling with people who have lets say, not so nice things to say about you and maybe it's because you're so bent that you make a roundabout look straight! Who the *uck are you trying to kid? You're just trying to wean yourself in to public sympathy like you did at Court. You have such a chequered past that you could double up as the finishing flag during
  9. You are so *ucked up, but you don't know you are! Every sense in your body is directed at the system that sent you to jail, but you can't take it in that it was you that was responsible, it was you that caused the Mr and Mrs Taxpayer the tune of nearly a million pounds and that's only on this case! You think that writing on here will advance your cause? You're just a sneaky underhand con man, a dishonest person who deceives others for his own want! You were found guilty and served a sentence of 3 and a half years and whats worse, the public don't know the half of it and you know that to be
  10. In my game, the building industry is all about knowing when to speak, hear or when to see, otherwise planning decisions can go either way. The visitors no holding hands was supposed to have been due to a couple of jerks trying to smuggle things in which sounds likely, but don't know for sure.
  11. I just don't get you Buster. You've done time and yet once again, you're grassing up the inmates? That's twice now and your unpopularity will increase if you don't start to think about what you're saying!! Having a dig at the staffing side of things is ok if they're not pulling their weight, but when you mention things like "allowing the younger element to stay up all hours" is just hinting that the lights or power should be switched off early. Like I said, engage brain before you write.
  12. Less than 100k and it was the same figure before she took on the additional probation lot. This will be a hard job to fill and either the last turkey returns from his not so grando job with the TT or the favoured option is to recruit from across with a nice movement and pension allowance thrown in to sweeten the deal.

Why don't you Google it? Oh..er..... I Googled it. Is this it? http://m.iomtoday.co.im/news/isle-of-man-news/tragic-children-to-benefit-from-charity-ride-1-1754420 Yes that's the one. Until recently you could still find the full story on IOM Today. Maybe Daddy has payed to make that go away as well. So, let's make sure it doesn't, ALEXANDER DUFFY, spineless weasel getting away with manslaughter (or culpable homicide) because Daddy has money (but absolutely no fucking morals or integrity). At least Kitching didn't get away scott free, though I suspect if his name had been Duffy he
  14. The Government must be honourable people - It says so if you believe everything in The Government Code (I think I'll remain sceptical for the time being) THE SEVEN PRINCIPLES OF PUBLIC LIFE Selflessness Holders of public office should act solely in terms of the public interest. They should not do so in order to gain financial or other material benefits for themselves, their family, or their friends. Integrity Holders of public office should not place themselves under any financial or other obligation to outside individuals or organisations that might seek to influence them in the p
  15. As like the US, Ireland is also receiving grants from the local agenda 21 fund.
  16. Wenger complains about any decision against them but somehow doesn't see any gaffs that his guys do.
  17. For someone who grassed up other inmates and now looking to grass on a senior officer after they helped you escape from being bullied and even provided you with two mattresses, then I'd suggest that absent mindedness has somehow got the better of you. Having said that fella, I'm not gonna knock you to much as the one you speak of playing patience is well known to all and sundry and he's as much use as a chocolate fire-guard. I don't know of the staffing there, but do hear that there's times when a senior officer is running four wings and that there has to be two officers per wing who
  18. Those who deal in areas concerning distortion of truth need to learn when to keep quiet as there's one or two who are more vocal than others! Some big ramblings are therefore being heard at the moment and the Civil Service Act 1990 1(4) and 7(2) are causing quite a stir, especially at MLC level and some MHK level with good reason. It would also seem at this present time, that KB is indeed correct (for now until changed anyhow- don't hold your breath Kate) and her supplier is a person who does indeed know his stuff, especially as he's an ex civil servant. (I know this guy from my past and
  19. Not the first one where files have gone missing and 'SOME' so called professionals should hang their heads in shame. There are many other Mental Health staff who do act appropriately, but certain management were 'then' starting to bully others into toeing 'their' line. It doesn't really matter that much now it seems as the female resident and unconnected to this topic is now dead and can't complain any more. (It's ok JW, there are facts to substantiate this as like the unnecessary and uncalled for use of force on a resident which was later proven to be unnecessary....eventually and only prov

  21. Can't understand this. David Moyes would never have let Man U beat them. Well when he was at MU anyway.
  22. That Robertshaw is a funny man. Is he Alex Downies boss? Now there's a Douglas boy whose done good for himself. That Alex Downie. He did my flue once. Lost his watch. Well he only has short arms. That Robertshaw had a lovely hotel. Then that funny bloke bought it and they stopped painting it. Have they let him out yet? If I still had me van and me brushes If he was out I'd be giving that funny bloke a ring. See if he wants his walls doing. And now that Robertshaw is Alex Downies boss. It's a funny old world. Haven't seen him down the Legion for months. Hope he's got rid of those deck shoes. Ma
  23. Is it a class thing then? Just saying Q regards the class thing and I'm therefore just rambling on without any real proof and some would consider as just hearsay, that some people have a more than square life and would have been sent down except for some influence in certain quarters! (Creg incident) Nuff said there as I don't want my tongue torn out by my roots!

    Six new Banks?

I just don't get it and maybe the guys who deal in the money world see it as good sense, but my thoughts are - Why would Banks want to start up in the IOM? What incentives are there compared to the UK mainland? How would this affect the existing Banks? Not my area guys and please feel free to put suggestions or criticisms any way you choose, but up to six? Why?
