Generation after generation of degenerates, what horrible people. I feel terribly sorry for their mums.

Maybe their mums should have disciplined them better

You are brave Sultan... however, if you ever read Jame’s IOM News and Politics you will see what I mean, spiteful, horrible remarks about MHKs, now criticism about their actions is one thing but about their personal appearance etc is poor practice and usually made by people with axes to grind.  He seems to have about six faithful followers who are full of poison and shite every day really unpleasant characters who probably have never achieved anything.

Why have you attached teapots comment to that?

Everything the DOI or Bus Vannin do is a complete joke. They seem to have seen off just about the only competent manager they employed who was supposed to be taking over from Longworth. You can’t have anyone not totally braindead running a ship of fools.

They should have fucked him off properly when they had the chance. He's like a bad smell hanging around the place

This forum getting bad press today on the wireless for being part of the radical abuse this person says she has received.

Dont see why she felt the need to go running to the press. Did she not expect some negative comments ?

Just read through this thread and don’t see anything hurtful, just tongue in cheek stuff, isn’t it ?

I didn't see anywhere in the story where she levelled accusations at MF

Correct. Never mind the tens of thousands of nuclear weapons or the shite we’re pumping into the atmosphere, the human race will be royally fucked by a virus that develops in the gut of a wild pig in somewhere like Laos, mutates so that it shuts down that part of the human central nervous system that controls breathing, spreads to the bloke that sleeps with the pig in his hut, and boom...four months later the only ones left are two Inuits and a lighthouse keeper in New Zealand

Sounds like it could be a good film...

I don’t really understand your point to be honest. It seems to “some gay people are annoying”. But what you’re actually describing is extroverts who happen to be gay.

Extroverts are bloody annoying. They let fireworks off near animals, they have fancy dress stag do’s, they insist on karaoke in quiet pubs, and  wear novelty ties to the office. But you don’t hold those extroverts behaviour against other people.

You don’t say “I don’t mind if you work in an office. But those guys with funny ties spoil it for the rest of them.”

I’d also be interested to know what “special treatment” gays are demanding. Historically, they’ve campaigned for the right to love who they want, shag who they want marry who they want. That’s not special treatment everyone has that right.

You couldn't be further from the truth if you tried, and boy do you try.

The voters of Onchan expected a champion of the people to serve them. What they got was a narcissistic bootlicker serving the ruling class. Why should the voters of Onchan be expected to vote for him again? Five years of accomplishing nothing (in 2021) will not be balanced out by tea and biscuits at the rec.

Are you still bitter because nobody wanted you as an MHK James?

Do people think this is a Poe?

It has a feel of a tremendous wind up and that some wag is delighted that the gullible are sharing it in all seriousness. But then again people genuinely believe weird shit so who am I to say it’s a wind up.

You leave Manxy out of this...

That would still be a massive allegation in itself. Interfering with/tampering with evidence to alter the outcome of a court case is a massive no no. Is that something you believe happened?

How did he come to be on 'the course' if he didn't access it from an open road junction? Remember he was heading home, so it's not like he just drove off his driveway onto 'the course'.

The organisers should just admit they dropped a massive bollock on this one. Apologise to the man concerned and pay some compensation for the emotional trauma and reputational damage caused by being arrested at his own home for something that he has been found innocent of.

They probably will when society stops being hetronormative.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other if you ask me. Most people don't give a hoot whether a person is gay or not as long as they are decent human beings. What gets on their wicks is the constant "look at me I'm gay and demand special treatment" of the minority gays. I know a lot of gay men and women and they don't harp on like some of the screaming queens

    This is great news:

http://www.iomtoday.co.im/article.cfm?id=54119&headline=Marina businessman cleared of driving on closed road&sectionIs=news&searchyear=2020

Hopefully there will be major repercussions for those responsible in bringing this case to court and the potential for the drivers name and good character to be besmirched by this whole charade!

It must have been truly humiliating to have been arrested at his home address, possibly in full view of his family and neighbours?

The TT Mafia will be fuming from this result!

I would suggest that the only "mafia" relating to the TT are those hell bent on stopping it...

I read this article on the Nations Propoganda Mouthpiece-

    https://www.manxradio.com/news/isle-of-man-news/isle-of-pride-seeks-support/

Alround bigwigs passing around the ever increasing begging bowl. I can see Tynpotwald giving them sponsorship. Steam Packet? They sponsor everything on 2 wheels now, and they are the latest Government cash cow to squeeze - and very good they are too at squeezing customers!

in all honesty, perhaps the organisers should get advise from say Blackpool or Manchester Pride on how to gain sponsorship, and alienate the wider community, in their unholy rush to corporatise an event.

As long as they give the same support and media hype to the Douglas/Peel/Ramsey/Castletown carnivals, there should be no problem
