  1. When they are positive you almost certainly have COVID but when you are negative and have symptoms there's only a 50/50 chance they are accurate. Https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/apr/15/what-is-lateral-flow-covid-test-how-accurate
  2. We've not really tried mask wearing properly. Those disposable surgical masks really aren't much protection, much less are the cloth masks that people endlessly reuse, as for those wearing snoods...
  3. In those circumstances where you display symptoms, know you're a close contact but get negative a LFT you can book a PCR.
  4. That's about an hour's worth of posts for Ramseyboi.
  5. He's made 5 posts in 5 hours. I got bored of counting how many posts you have made in the same time period.

Statement issued: https://www.energyfm.net/cms/news_story_703929.html One flume is out of action as "exit from the flume is not always as smooth as it should be".
  7. You need another PCR test and insist they swab your throat.
  8. IF this true then you really need to take a long hard look at yourself. You don't get to pick which rules you want to follow and which rules you don't in a society. If you are just trolling then that's just pathetic.
  9. No, I think he's saying "You're all going to get ill and there's nothing we're going to do about it".
  10. Not according to ramseyboi. Everyone who has it has it mild but most people are faking it anyway because Manx people are workshy...
  11. Think you may find a lack of teachers and pupils due to sickness might be more of an issue.
  12. Not quite sure you understand what exponential growth is and how it works.
  13. I know of 6 cases recently that only tested negative on days 7 to 9. I know one lucky person who was 4 days. Obviously this is not scientific data but the ridiculously high cases are going to have an impact on businesses and the economy. The head of Robinson's was Twitter earlier today and mentioned that so many businesses are closed (I'm presuming because of lack of staff) it's affecting Robinson's sales. Lockdown by default.
  14. He's only taking back control of his borders and stopping unwanted immigrants. Wasn't this what Brexit was all about?
  15. Why do they need to? Test negative on 2 separate days and you're out of isolation. A much more sensible approach.
  16. Oh the irony. 1,795 posts of vapid nothingness.
  17. Most of the people who needed to know what her business does already knew about it. It's a pretty niche service.
  18. Apart from becoming "manx famous" how exactly has she capitalised upon the "pandemic madness"?
  19. Let's see how well this post has aged by the end of January.
  20. 15th Dec was actually 102,000 cases according to data released today. Interesting that they didn't update the graphs.
  21. Not at the start it wasn't. Eradication was an accidental byproduct of a highly complaint population. A lack of testing resulted in the virus running unchecked until a lockdown was required to slow it down. We are a lot more prepared this time but the question is will the hospital be able to cope a) with high staff sickness and b) a large influx of patients all at once? I guess only time will tell.
