  1. A lot of Onchan folk aren't impressed. No point in hiding it.
  2. Of course not, just jealousy. Jealous of what exactly? These people are all getting very well paid anyway. Skelly gets a full ministerial salary and also to flog gifts to IOMG for £28k a year from a gift company he is a director of. That does not make me jealous as if I was in the same position I simply would not put myself in a position like that where I would have to defend other income received ontop of my generous taxpayer salary. 28k is hardly huge money. It's turnover. I suspect it has to go to tender too. Everything does. So your employer would let you be employed on a good wage and

  4. It's fucking shocking. I'd like to know what services the charity headed by Gawne is charging IOMG for but it seems a lot of money. Surely any re-charge of services would go the other way? The charity billing government to provide services on its behalf? Read some of the comments on IOM Today and I am also shocked by Beecroft. What cleaning services do government pay £100k a year for? Surely any one from any number of companies could provide low skilled cleaning services to government? There's loads around. Less surprised by Anderson and Quayle. Looks like standard grants under the co
  5. I agree, as an Onchan resident I'm wondering if Rob Callister as an "off" switch and could perhaps just get on with whatever he's supposed to be doing rather than shamelessly courting the media.
  6. Looks like the EU will be asking for an £8bn divorce settlement now to cover any unseen liabilities post Brexit.
  7. Bit unfair, I think the problem was the words used . Hang on I'm not having that as Dilligafs original post made me so angry I left for months. He has a go at Tarne for referring to people with Downs Syndrome as "downers" and his views on abortion, and yet aggressively had me for having a go at his use and support of the word "Mong" in the same circumstances and that was after I said that I had family exposure to a child with learning difficulties. I'm not having it. It was bloody offensive and he can't have it both ways. His support of the word "Mong" I found to be totally offensive - but
  8. Ace. Dont be disappointing anyone and changing your mind now.
  9. Get over it you big girls blouse. It's a shame you have such appalling views on people with learning difficulties and that it had to be pointed out to you following your mock outrage at Tarnes posts. Oh, and I said you were being a two-face twat because you were being a two-faced twat. I didn't use any of the other words you mention above in order to mine sympathy for your pathetic flounce. I'm sure this forum will (not) miss your valuable contributions.

I think that is the most vile and hurtful post I have ever read on Manx Forums. What possessed you to write that ? Do you thrive on the attention ? Do you not know anybody with a Downs child or have you never worked with anyone born with Downs Syndrome ? Loser. Takes one to know one - asshole. It's worth following your comments in this thread for a page or so before you try to pull off the horrified poster routine. Especially your support of the word 'mong' ..http://www.manxforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/60930-criticism-deterring-candidates/?p=1103849 This is quite telling alsohttp:/

Tame's use of downer and general comments are no worse than Dilligafs support of the word Mong and his general mocking in that thread. Only this time he feigns mock indignation for Tame having expressed similar views himself not that long ago. What a two-faced twat.
