    Who is that then?

You should know what it is like over the bridge, anyone who got the modicum of intelligence is to be feared and loathed.

Just perhaps, and I'm out on a limb here, that Rob was right and there are still issues with how people are treated in the health and care services, even in the higher ranks where tensions may just be surfacing? And just suppose he raised it with the CM? Is that what the members didn't like, as it involved some of the people they have to work alongside.?

Pure speculation of course, but stranger things have happened. 😀We will never know.

I just can't see it or Rob Callister would have stated all of this in Tynwald, instead of having a hissy fit.

Little Bobby Onchan’s Bride works in the Hansard Office - imagine her pride at committing today’s shit to the official records - I'm pretty certain Mrs Callister had a poor day when the cost of a letter question was preserved for posterity however she’s got 3 working days left this week………

I don't think Mrs Callister works in the Hansard office anymore. You don't see Mr Callister "Hear Hear" anymore.

Think she’s up for re-election in February so she’s lost at least 1 vote in Rob

She shouldn't worry, Rob voted for a recommendation against his own motion.

  5. I believe the department members simply didn’t understand or appreciate the complexity of a department that had no Chief Executive in post when I took up the position, a department that was clearly understaffed, under-resourced and under extreme pressure for long periods of time.

So why are they still there and he is not. Rob Truss, more excuses that don't make sense.

Why not go for the full Major T. J. "King" Kong experience of riding the bomb and have a few days in Foxdale?

Your mixing nuclear holocaust with a zombie apocalypse.

  7. Could the teachers please only strike on days that it is raining as it is a bloody nightmare going to work. Never seen so many one parent , one kid cars on the road. If Greta Caine Thombosis really wants to change the Islands carbon admissions, starting with this wouldn't  hurt.

Given his love of the limelight, why hasn’t Rob come on here and put the story straight

You can't defend the indefensible, Robs good at top spin,, but a master at back spin, but doesn't have a good side.

    So you've no idea then...

So could you tell me where DfE publish fundings costs for such events, I think it says more about DfE none existent transparency policy, I mean it is pretty historic that they don't publish costs of events they are funding, except the TT.

But really you would think it should be published how much these kind of events cost, as it is taxpayers money they play fast and loose with. Also they were quick enough to publish covid payments to local companies.

Hmmm, not sure 90 minute lunch breaks can be confused with 60 minutes plus 2x15 but fair enough.  Quick google search:

    https://crhs.sch.im/pages/index/view/id/225/About Castle Rushen High School

    https://rgs.sch.im/pages/index/view/id/268/School Day

    https://snhs.sch.im/pages/index/view/id/39/Times of the School Day

None of which suggest a 90 minute lunch break, but maybe Banker doesn’t regard 1.5 hours as 90 minutes.  Maybe he’ll provide some evidence to back up his claim, otherwise it will be another of his made up facts.

How many lessons are teachers contracted to teach each week. A school time table of lessons is meaningless if teachers only have 20 lessons a week. I worked twelve hours a days, on a rota of three days on and three days off, If I still had the weeks rota sheet, you would think we were working 120hrs a week without context.
