Dog Fouling - Onchan Commissioners issue a warning
Fossils replied to Manxtrust's topic in Local News
It is front page news in the Courier. After all the useless meetings about dog mess (from the team who invented the chocolate fire guard?) the ultimate weapon is to be introduced to "target irresponsible dog-owners." A poster campaign. That should really stop them in their tracks, if they can read. -

We're still being robbed. Those that are well paid to protect the public from this continue to make excuses to condone it.

Jimmy Krankie!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not giving it a second thought.

Is that the old "i" for an "I" syndrome?

To settle a family discussion, where can I buy Meltis Newberry Fruits on the Island?
-
Isn't this because every UK town is overrun by drunken loonies each weekend evening, making it necessary to have the bouncers in to defend their patch? The loonies here have decided that it is cool to get out of their brains, "like they do in the UK," so bouncers have to be employed.

Do you honestly think that coming from an EU country automatically qualifies you to UK citizenship?
-
What do you mean by non UK citizens? Anyone within the EU is completely free to move here whenever they want without and requirements to register or obtain a VISA in the UK?I think my questions were worded clearly enough. At what point did I question the freedom of movement for EU citizens? Oh yes you were (I refer to your above reply). You said you did not include EU citizens within your definition of non UK citizens. So who were you intending to start a debate about? Did you go to the same school as John Houghton?
-
Oh no I wasn't.
-
Only a bit? Perhaps then, as requested, you should state clearly who you are referring to when you refer to non-UK citizens if EU residents are not included in that despite the fact they are all clearly non-UK citizens. Just to clarify - In using the term "non-UK" citizens I was referring to anyone who is not a citizen of England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Does that help?

Has there been a massive influx of non-UK citizens to the Island recently? Are there any official figures available on immigration? If so, can they really be an accurate record?

Who on here is suggesting the hospital celebrates Islamic festivals? Nobody. I was referring to the international threat that you may have failed to notice. Who are the "few on here" that prefer the "Muslim alternative"? I haven't noticed them, and am struggling to see any connections with this thread and Islam. Enlighten me. Okay, I'll admit that I may have exaggerated a little. That must now make you The Enlightened One!

They were already 'looking into' that a couple of years ago:http://www.energyfm.net/cms/news_story_209840.html To cover the cost of the Iris scheme?
-
The threatening, looming, Muslim alternative appears to be preferred by a few on here.

Houghton is displaying most, if not all, of the traits necessary to become the next Chief Minister.

You need to stop using this silly phrase. Really, trust me. Does it grind your gears? It seems to automatically grind TSM's gears.

How long will it be before they introduce a false teeth tax on the "Ageing Population"?
