anyone got a contact number for Doug Davidson? if so can you PM me with it?
-
mine have worked fine (on Sure) for about 2 weeks now, i get the Full Play store using:
Sure Mobile
Manx Telecom Broadband
Wimanx Broadband
I get full paid apps, Google music, books, videos etc. On my wife's phone, I don't get of these (we are on the same Sure contract!)
It's a bit of a farce really.
-
I had a windows 7 phone that was locked to MT, found out when i moved to Sure..
-
you have a 15 minute refund option on Android, so you can quickly try it out!
-
I'll go to Windows 8 I think.
-
I notice that the problem that it won't update any apps that are restricted due to region either, so even if you own them, it won't update them.
Yes I can VPN in to do this (this is how I found out about all the updates that were sitting waiting!), but it's not an acceptable long term solution.
-
It's not working for me on either MT or Wimanx over WiFi, or Sure via 3G.
-
I see that I can no longer see paid apps on my mobile now.

Telecom & Wimanx tests said I'd get about 18mbps on VDSL, I actually get 28mbps. I think the figures are on the cautious side.

I know it's not ideal or the way it was designed but can you not push apps to it from a pc logged into the store?
You have the same problem now on a PC that it can only see the free stuff.
That hasn't worked for me but in a twist of irony I can view the paid apps in the google play store when using my ipad! I am yet to try to buy one through there yet though.
Is the iPad a 3G model?
-
Its a shame because the devices / store etc are all very good. It gives me a chance to mess with a W8 tablet though
-
yeah, it's a major pain in the backside. Google don't have the slightest interest when you contact them about it either. My Windows 8 Tablet is on order, kids can have the Nexus. I believe Currys have stopped selling them now as they were getting too many returned, not sure if this affects other tablets too?
-
were some in dealz too
-
Always used Jane Callow too for our animals, highly recommend. Never bothered with Pet Insurance in the past either.
same here
-
I only pay MT line rental now.
-
I use Wimanx and get the problem.
-
Got there
Cheers Slim

Anything i log onto using my Google Account (web / Galaxy S3) works fine - it seems linked to my account rather than a device.
