It looks like Govt might start charging "the full rental" of £70,000 p.a. for the Eastern District Amenity / re-use site
"Department of Infrastructure Representative – Mr J. Quayle...... referred to the Department’s intention to review the charging of a rental for the Site which was currently a nominal amount. He suggested the Department may consider charging the full rental, in the region of £70,000 per annum"
...so its then been suggested Douglas Corporation "farm out" the management of the facility to a charity....which "could also generate income both the charity and the authorities"
What do you think? good idea, or not?
btw
the Corpy have:- "agreed: to restrict parking of any vehicle at the re-use shed to fifteen minutes, with no return being permitted in the same day".
