  1. Join us at Noa Bakehouse on Friday 15th September as we pair the mightiest of bedfellows, Beer & Food!Hosted by the Island's newest gurus of all things craft beer, Bottle Monkey, we will be bringing together a range of beers currently unavailable on the Island alongside some delicious food to help it all go down. This isn't going to be one of those snobby 'You should be looking for notes of goose and elderberry' kind of affairs. But instead, a fun night full of great beer to help inspire your dinnertime drinking and take your appreciation of the mighty hop to a whole new level.Information on the beers will follow in the lead up to the event, but rest assured that we've teamed up with one of the UK's very best breweries to ensure an adventure for your tongue like no other. Tickets are £35 plus the eventbrite booking fee and are on sale now via Eventbrite Tickets include 6 beers, a 3 course meal and 'edu-tainment' (That's right, you'll be learning, but about beer, and that's fun!) for the evening with the opportunity to buy more from the bar if you need a top up or fancy taking a can or two home (While stoall yourcks last) So what are you waiting for, tell a friend, and prepare yourself for the most delicious event this side of Christmas!
  2. Anyone been yet? Views please...
  3. Where can I get a good roast dinner on a Sunday without having to listen to 3FM's 'Sunday Roast' program? Everywhere we go seems to have it on. I'm sure a lot people like middle of the road music with a track history after every song, it seems very popular with the pub and restaurant scene but it's not for me. Any suggestions?
  4. Anyone been there yet? Thinking about a pre-Christmas visit... Any good?
  5. I bake my own bread and would like to use Laxey Mills flour but haven't had much success unless I use Canadian Strong White bread flour and Waitrose wholemeal flour. Can anyone share successful bread machine recipes using local flour? I use a Panasonic SD 2501 bread machine. Unfortunately the recipes with the machine are a bit hit and miss. Thanks in advance
