Help needed! I have been "upgraded" this week to from the Sure 16Mb ADSL to the Sure 40Mb VDSL service. 2 days have now passed from MT visit and I still have no internet! Contacted Sure help desk last night, have been into store today and contacted help desk again tonight but I am no further forward! Sure have now provided me with 2 sets of settings for the VDSL 40Mb so I am looking for someone with Sure to confirm which works for them, if either are correct! Option 1 ATM settings VPI 0 VCI 38 Encapsulation PPPoE Authentication CHAP Primary DNS 212.30.8.70

Hi I am a fully qualified and nrcpd registered British Sign Language interpreter and was wondering if any of you can help me with information about the deaf community on the IOM. I might be moving to the island due to my husband's work and would love to pick the brains of such a lovely bunch of forum users! Do you know anyone who is deaf? Do deaf people on the island mostly work? Perhaps you could ask them directly? Any information will be highly appreciated. With thanks in advance! 😊

Can anyone help me with a SKYPE problem please. Suddenly I cannot dial 01624 numbers via my PC/SKYPE. I get two/three ring tones then a BUZZ and nothing. I can ring any other UK area code and also 07624 numbers but not 01624 numbers. I have contacted SKYPE and they are no help. Apart from not reading the question and sending generic suggestions one after another-EG. Have u looged in!!! They are no use. Anyone help PLEASE Thanks -
I've been getting the message above. I've also been seeing errors with IE wanting to close. I've also had a problem trying to book on steam packet - that's where I saw the message. SP says it's my problem. I've cleared temporary files, cookies and history and restarted numerous times. What's happening and how can I fix it? Thanks -
Can anyone shed any light on a visit to the IOM one TT week many, many years ago of the late General Stormin Norman Schwarzkopf? He was a one or two day visitor and was shown around the IOM by the then Lieutenant Governor Laurence New.

My beloved Citroen relay has finally gone to the big van house in the sky, after years of abuse by my good self. So I'm looking for a cheap runaround Van or estate type car ASAP to get me through the next week or so? Not looking to pay too much and not expecting too much £4-500 ish ! I have one of these Nano 6th Gen Ipods and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good docking station with speakers?? I have found a docking station but with no speakers and the stuff I found on Amazon seemed a bit tat in as much you have to buy separate leads and chargers etc!! Thanks LT

Hi, I'm looking to pick the brains of people who live in a Heritage Homes 3 bed semi. I'm considering purchasing this type of property but would like to know what the cost implications would be for adding a fourth bedroom over the garage? Also if there are any builders reading this that have carried out such an extension, what was the cost and also the timeframe for such a venture?
