A Fake Comeback? Manxman John Watterson will bring his one man show ‘Fake Thackray – the life and songs of Jake Thackray’ to the Island on Sunday 29 July, 8pm at Peel's Centenary Centre. Jake Thackray’s satirical, witty, hilarious songs brought him fame and extensive TV exposure in the 60s and 70s on Esther Rantzen’s ‘That’s Life’ and he performed at the Island’s 1976 Folk Festival, and subsequently at the folk club in Douglas.
