Augustus 213 Posted October 20 The motorist was removed from the vehicle after it was stabilised and treated by the IOM Ambulance Service. https://www.manxradio.com/news/isle-of-man-news/police-called-out-to-crash-in-south-of-island/ The world-beaters at Manx Radio News. My question is how they managed to fit the vehicle on the stretcher? 1

The fact is you can't measure radio consumption, and so an industry owned non independent body has been making it up for years by visiting houses during the day when only old mental people are home and then bribing the gullible old twats with enough money for dilligaf and his like to pop down the spar and get an instant hit of booze. Only radio is measured by this yard of booze everyone else uses real data.

I wonder if that's the reason Energy FM stopped subscribing to RAJAR, although I also wonder if it was after a particularly poor ratings quarter for them?

It also makes me wonder how such frequent faux pas get past the News Editor. (Does anyone actually know what exactly IS the job of the News EDITOR, and what he does all day? Likewise the SPORTS Editor?)

I am Juan and the other bloke that got escorted from the building and you can have your RAJAR £5 booze money. RAJAR surveying is weird you have to admit that. The fairest way would be to ask what radio had been listened to that day or the past 5 days, that would give a more accurate result. Paying them a fiver and asking them to go listen to radio for the next 5 days is going to increase the radio consumption as they will be thinking about it, so you end up with Declans ludicrous figures.

All surveys are a bit of a joke. You only have to look at the experience of polls on the last few UK elections and the referendum. Then there are those surreal adverts that regale you with "89% of UK women would change to Supergloop anti-age cream.", while the small print at the foot of the screen informs us that this is based upon 89% of 81 women. Very scientific.

Ha ha! Mrs Craggy suggested I start a station to cater for reactionary folk like me who have abandoned MR. Gave it 30 seconds thought. Anyone can set up and broadcast over t'internet - it's literally child's play. Maybe that's the answer, Manx Community Radio.

No, but there’s probably a decent chance that some of them can spell, punctuate and use correct grammar if they bring a parallel website online. Which £1 million hasn’t achieved elsewhere.
