Attachments?

Recommended Posts

I've been trying to send an email with 3 attachments but it just wont send.

Anyone got any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Tried sending it via gmail and also manx.net without success.

Isn't there a 5mb limit on Manx.net mail and a 10mb limit on GMail? How big are the files? Are you actually using the GMail interface or using Manx.net SMTP? What are the filetypes? They may be banned attachments.

'Just wont send' is pretty vague too. They fail on client side? Or they're returned? What is the error message you see?

Tried sending them one at a time, 2 of them send ok the 3rd doesn't.

The 2 that do send ok are a small photo 4KB, and a short letter 24KB

The one that wont send is a Ms word document size 616KB.

A few minutes after trying to send the 3rd attachment I'm getting an error message saying the document contains no data.

Copy the word document to a memory stick, strap it to a carrier pigeon.

- Might be just as quick as manxnet mail!!!!! :)

Jay, - are you using manx.net as webmail, or via an email client? - Might be worth logging into the webmail interface and delete everything you have in there.
