StuartT
Been thinking when listening to some of the songs on the other threads, that they remind me of being young. Just heard this one when out the other night http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kJro...elated&search= reminded me of being a kid, when I was so happy. Funny how you don't realise how happy you are then, but something about it just brings it all back. Don't get many songs like that now. (Just found this nice remix as well - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5rl8-oH1ww ) Another one was Wannabe by the spicegirls, reminded me of the first lass I went out with - we met at a disco & she was dressed like sporty spice & singing this song. Got to admit much as I hated them, Never forget by Take That reminds me of a holiday I had in Ireland, where I met a gorgeous Austrian Lass, and we got a bit friendly. Any songs that bring it all back??

Brad_Naylor
Jimmy Ruffin – Hold on to my love, reminds me of an old mate I used to knock around with when I was younger, we were a pair of proper rips, and some hotel bar in Douglas. Aswad – Don’t turn around, my first Sony Walkman tape player with Mega Bass!! The Best of Bread – A beautiful blonde girl I used to know. Declan
Leave The Capitol. Good call, funnily enough though they are the perfect band to listen to whilst wandering around London - rhythmic, yet disjointed with seemingly random but often relevent exclaimations, fits just right. That said there is almost no scenario where they don't enhance the ambience. Anyway... 16 (Noise Addict) & Caught By the Fuzz (by Supergrass) remind me of being 16. 16 Again (by the Buzzcocks) of being 19 Sugar Mountain (by Neil Young) of 21 Hey Bobby Malone (by Casiotone for the Painfully Alone) recalls my mid-20's and the first Streets album reminds me of 1997. Which is odd because most of the songs weren't even written at the times they remind me of.

Bella
Very sad I know, but 'Set U Free' by N-Trance reminds me of the best NYE I've ever had - 2004 in the Venue (god I miss that place!!). I had tonsilitis and I couldn't drink a thing or talk to anyone and I was feeling very sorry for myself. But at the stroke of midnight the whole place erupted and my mate had just bought a bottle of (very cheap) champage which he proceeded to spray all over the place. Next minute that song came on and the night just got better from there. Still makes me smile when I hear it, even though it's an awful song really
mojomonkey
The Orb's Little Fluffy Clouds reminds me of sitting on the floor of a nightclub in Sunderland circa 1992 feeling very strange and being amazed at all the pairs of Adidas Gazelles going past me. Cret
Dunno really - there are just so many tunes that have ace memories linked to them and take me back when I hear them. Far too many to go on about but there's been a few mentioned already. I can't wait til I move house in a few weeks so I can finally get my hifi set up just exactly how I want it and everything will sound soooo much better! With a bit of luck there will soon be a massive telly to go with it all to. Music: Ace.
Foxtrotlima
She Sells Sanctuary by The Cult, and Trumpton Riots by Half Man Half Biscuit. Both remind me of being about 14/15, with no worries in the world, no bills to pay and they both conjure up really pleasant feelings. mojomonkey
The Pixies are great, not so sure about Fleetwood Mac (although some of their early stuff is alright).
