Foxtrotlima
Lambchop's version of 'This corrosion' You have to enter the code in the box (top right of screen) then press download on next screen. I bet this doesn't work. I have to admit, I had reservations about this one, but my god, it works! Really enjoying this one, thank you for uploading it mojomonkey
Foxtrotlima
Hmm, just thought of another couple of songs, these ones remind me of being at school. Both by House Of Love - Shine On, and I Don't Know Why I Love You. The latter most definitely my favourite.
Gavsta
Had I not liked the original so much I think I would have enjoyed that much more. Its Ok though. Edit to add: This refers to the SOM track. Must learn to post in context. Edited November 12, 2006 by Gavsta
StuartT
The Lido is exactly what I was thinking of when I mentioned She Sells Sanctuary, Declan. Although not the greatest tune on earth, it was always preferable to having to listen to bloody Five Star's System Addict and watch it on the drop down screens! And for some reason, The Sisters Of Mercy's This Corrosion always reminds me of Bushy's. I miss both places I loved This Corrosion, reminds me of The Tardis & friends who are no longer here. It's been years since I've heard the original, can't say now how I would rate it now, but I found the Lambchops version very weak.
mojomonkey
I suppose it all depends on whether you like Lambchop, which I do.
Declan
It's OK. But does suffer from Lambchop's habit of trying to make everything perfect and losing "the soul" in the process. They could have been a great group if only they left a few rough edges.

Can see where you're coming from here Declan - although I'm not familiar with any other Lambchop tunes, I imagine they would sound good enough live, - IMHO the SOM tune they do has no ball's, no presence & no soul - I found it very bland - an interesting idea that might have worked for me if it had a bit more 'rawness' to it. The Thriller
Rave 92 brings it back for me, reminds me of Balla for some strange reason.

(Cheaper to get last bus from Douglas to Academy & walk home rather than a Taxi from Lido!)
