and United have already booked the celebration party probably knowing Fergie (Fa Cup final hotel anyone years ago pmsl)

People in glass houses...

Wasn't aware of that, don't all clubs have standard paraphanalia (if thats how its spelt?) ready, if already in final?

Either way, hanging head in shame.......

To the Man United fans already gloating about the title, have you won it yet, no, so why do you boast that its in the bag etc, i know a lot of neutral fans that want to see Liverpool win it to shut you the fcuk up, boasting and taking the p!ss out of Liverpool and Rafa, no wonder your fans are the most hated, yes his rant has proved to have a detrimental effect on the team but they are not out of it yet, and everything he said was correct, truth hurts doesn't it?

Yes i am a liverpool fanatic and if you check my old posts, even when we were 8 clear, i stated that i would be happy if we were near abouts come the closing month or two, being realistic to our chances, yes United are more than capable of running away with it now, especially if they beat liverpool at O.T. but its not won yet, and United have already booked the celebration party probably knowing Fergie (Fa Cup final hotel anyone years ago pmsl).

Beautiful mate, just beautiful ;)

Hmm, in hindsight i had a Rafa rant myself, i am just getting wound up by United fans like Rafa did by Fergie, god we bite don't we!

On a slightly different note....

The EPL TV rights were up for grabs from 2010 - 2013 with Sky, Setanta and ESPN being in the running.

Anyhow, Sky won 5 out of the six packages (meaning the return of Monday Night Football to Sky), with Setanta just holding on to the Satruday night game.

Surely this is a huge blow for Setanta? Or will they survive with one game per week (plus I guess they will retain the SPL)?

glad setanta lost out and more games are comin back to sky, all the more reason not to bother subscribing to them as i'll only have to wait 1 more season till that deal kicks in

Yes i am a liverpool diving, cheating bastards fanatic and if you check my old posts, even when we were 8 clear, i stated that i would be happy if we were near abouts come the closing month or two, being realistic to our chances, yes United are more than capable of running away with it now, especially if they beat liverpool at O.T. but its not won yet, and United have already booked the celebration party probably knowing Fergie (Fa Cup final hotel anyone years ago pmsl).

Fixed!

Interesting weekend with Chelsea above Villa and Man U now 7 points clear as Liverpool only manage another draw at Anfield. The Spanish chap with the David Brent facial hair mumbled something about it's still all to play for, which it is. Also one of his biggest diving cheats, Alonso, will be back in the side (Alonso is the one who rolled on the ground in dreadfully fake agony to get fellow professional Fat Frank sent off).

Ronaldo took a dive on Saturday. Fergie's comment "Cristiano was booked for diving - and rightly so". Can you imagine the likes of Arsene "I didn't see the incident" Wenger or Benitez admitting their players dive? Did you say "Never in a gazillion years!" - because that's the right answer. But then Ronaldo did score a very special goal just afterwards so why does he need to go over? He's improved a lot but you can be sure Fergie will have something to say about his booking. Ronaldo could also end up like S W-P for striking out. Interesting times.

On behalf of the neutral audience, I made one small adjustment to the post below. There should be equal application of the laws of the game for all teams. Why are M U always given preferential treatment by referees? Is it due to fear of Fergie Rage?

Fixed! (again)

Getting back to the football....I hope that Villa dont run out of steam over the next few weeks. Will be great to seem them break up the usual top 4....

Oh and although this sticks in my craw...I hope Utd win the League Cup on Sunday....means UEFA places go down to 6th place!!

I don't think MU get preferential treatment, they're too much under the spotlight for that. Also imho the two teams that stand out for surrounding the ref and giving him what for are Chelsea and Arsenal. It's amazing to think that the strike by Ronaldo was fixed though. How do they do it...

I hope Villa keep it up to upset the status quo. Trouble is breaking into the top four you need real depth in your squad. Not so much running out of steam as running out of fit players!

Such a pity O'Neill isn't England manager. The way he gets a team to punch above it's weight made him top of my list.

Total number of goals scored this season by Villa in 360 minutes of play against the three teams currently above them in the league table: None.

Yeah, they're really punching above their weight. Hope they get into the CL, though.

By not sending him off for committing a 2nd bookable offence (retaliating by kicking an opponent on the back of the leg after being fouled). This was clearly seen by most, but ignored by officials suffering from selective blindness (a condition commonly found at MU home matches). It is more difficult to score from the dressing room, even for Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is a brilliant player, but his spoilt brat tantrums are undermining his image and potential. I am surprised that AF has not brought him to his senses with the boot across the dressing room treatment.

Most refs will try and keep the player on the field. After one yellow it frequently takes a really nasty/stupid action to pick up a second. That's not confined to Ronaldo and Old Trafford, that's generally and all the players know it. Agree that spoilt brat is a good description and Ronaldo may yet follow S W-P, courtesy of the FA. You can be sure Fergie would have had words about it!

I suspect Inter may well stuff them though. They really storm forward because of their faith in the defence, that may well not happen tomorrow.

Edited to add: at the end of the day Howard Webb had a crap game, that's not the players fault.

Edited by P.K.

Download sopcast, go to the above link and watch every game live - free (if you haven't already)

My mate told me he knows someone whose uncles mate uses it for every game. Seemingly the picture isn't brilliant, but it's better than lining the pikeys pockets, or listening to 5 live.

Just continuing the general Scouse pessimism that seems to prevail 'round here, i have a nightmare scenario for the end of te season. As follows:

United win No. 18 :( with a goal in the fourth added minutes of extra time. Scored by a player who should clearly have been sent off earlier. Using a deliberate but unseen (by the officials) hand ball. From a blatently offside position. While at the same time fouling their goalie. Having come back from 3 down with 10 minutes to go.

You know we could be worse off - stop whingeing and get behind your team!!!!:angry::angry:
