Hillside 23
Does anyone know of a good source of hardwood logs? I want some to burn this winter, and not the usual pine that the Forestry Board sell off and is available from petrol stations already bagged. Mr. Sausages 6,427
There's a sign outside a cottage on the Ballamodha (sp?) road that says "LOGS FOR SALE". When I get hold of some paint it will say "CLOGS FOR SALE".

mojomonkey 3,382
What's wrong with using naff pallets MK? (just asking) Nothing if you like inhaling toxic fumes and fouling up your chimney. There is also the question of ownership, pallet thieft is all too common.
