Cresta Fiesta
My DG834GT doesn't seem to indicate which revision it is, and I've looked at the sticker on the back very carefully. Where is the information obtained from?
joeyconcrete
My DG834GT doesn't seem to indicate which revision it is, and I've looked at the sticker on the back very carefully. I think there's only one version of the GT which is, in ADSL chipset terms, similar to the DG834Gv4
fastie
according to THIS we should get ADSL2+ today in Douglas, anyone can confirm that?
Terminal
As far as I know all other areas got done on time. You'll only get ADSL2+ if you ask your ISP for it.

I did on Friday - they told me to ring back this week! I'm in Douglas you see, they didn't seem to interested in taking details and calling back. Sneak
Woohoo! Almost 12 meg, not to be sniffed at. Where abouts in Douglas are you? Has anyone on here who lives up Farmhill area been upgraded? If so what speeds are you getting? I've asked to Wi-Manx to upgrade me but I don't think it has happened as yet, at least I hope not. With the upgrade date for Douglas being on a weekend Wi-Manx probably won't do anything until next week.
joeyconcrete
With the upgrade date for Douglas being on a weekend Wi-Manx probably won't do anything until next week. It wasn't possible to pre-order ADSL2+ regrades for Douglas\Onchan until the 1st (Saturday), and even then, it can take the standard lead-times ~5 days. I would guess most of the orders will be submitted first-thing Monday.
