Miss Roo 25
I'm having a rather crappy week i'm full of a cold and now i've gone and chipped a bloody tooth. Some time ago i had a crown fitted at the ridiculous cost of £400, a week later i saw an advert in the local paper for the same thing but it was priced at £275, big difference hey! Dont want to get ripped off but i want decent dentistry. Any ideas anybody?

ballaughbiker 1,844
Hope you get sorted out roo but I have to say that £400 is not a ridiculous price for a crown. Whilst £275 is better check you are comparing like with like.
Punisher 11
Best not book a week in Poland. Yeah best not - save the money and walk down Strand Street
wazir 2
Have you considered doing it yourself? I have found that epoxy resin and House of Mannanin Triskelion thimbles are both stylish and patriotic.

cheesypeas 304
Had a crown yesterday for £189.00 on national health. Dentist on Woodbourne Sq. (ask for Vickie). Actually, the trip to Poland suggestion is also a good one, if you need a lot of work doing. State of the art surgeries and cheap.
