Liesel
The hubbie is on the Douglas RNLI crew. We crossed paths as he went rushing out at 7.30pm and I didnt see him again until 5am this morning! After 2.5 hours sleep he was up again to head to work. It was one of the worst trips he has been on due to the weather. All of the RNLI crew had been sick at some point. I think the RNLI crews do a fantastic job and dont get enough praise. All done voluntarily too. Well done everyone involved.

Bet the Capt' of this fishing vessel will not frequent his local for a few days in fear of ridiqule from his fellow seafarer's for drawing his own fishing gear in to his prop Edited September 22, 2009 by Digga

No amount of gear box shifting will stop it. Douglas boat must be due for replacement soon, that style of boat is not known for giving forgiving rides.
