nathan wind 1
Well done let's hope they stick to their new policy now they have bought out the wing of Amstrad that makes the new boxes and give you one of them. Yeah, I kind of wanted to sock it to them in a wolfy smith 'Power to the people!!!!' kind of manner, so I feel a bit dirty at caving in. They have also given me a free month's viewing. Turns out I can be bought pretty easily by those corporate swines. Bah. I'll have the last laugh when the 3-month guarantee is up o my refurbished box and I stick a bigger HDD in it. Who'll be laughing then, Sky? Hmm?
modey 10
Just get yourself one of these hd boxes: I can now watch all the sky hd channels i want as well as all the sky italia hd and many more without paying sky stupid amounts of money each month
Rich 0
I have a Thomson Sky HD box which is displaying the 'classic' early signs of PSU failure - typically this has all started about a week after the guarantee ended. Does anyone know if there is a company, or individual on the island who fits the Satcure PSU's to these HD boxes? There are a number of places across the water that can fix it, but I'll be stung horribly for postage try 'sky phil' on 206070 i'm sure if he cant he'll point u in the right direction If Phil can't I'd be bloody worried
