Nothing on status on their site

Anyone else getting this?

Have rebooted router but no joy

I have also had problems for the last couple of days I thought that it may be a router problem. I shall not bother looking at a new router now.

Mine is dropping connection at peak times (17:00>22:00) seems to come and go in blocks of annoying outages. Call logged with MT, but after a week and 2 visits, we are still no closer to a fix.

just ditch em and go to wimanx, at least then they will look into why it's going slow and if it is an MT hardline error they can chase their ass

To be fair to MT, any problems i've had have been sorted or addressed promptly. Imo, their back up service as an IPS is second to none.

Lots of major lag spikes over the weekend. I'll see if it settles down. ( Onchan )

The usual case with MT is unless 100people report a problem nothing gets looked in to! unless they have changed? Always some thing up with their internet, must be about an 80% uptime?

I will never ever forget being on the 56K unlimited package.. and getting a letter saying if I do not cut down on my usage then I would be disconnected? that's right I was on the unlimited package! LOL on the other hand I have found the mobile phone service perfect. Although now they have been taken over they send all mobile phones away for repair, rather than a direct replacement :(.

1. Try changing your filter. They can fail.

2. Talk to them again. Report a fault. They are there to help you.

Bet it's the filter.

No filter was fine

Miraculously, speed seems to have suddenly become very good ( for here ) since Tuesday morning.

14041/713 at the moment

Mine is showing 11799 & 830 so stats are good but connection is lousy

Is the router showing any errors/dropouts? If not, it's probably just contention as that is what's regarded as 'peak time'.

How are people getting these speeds on MT, the best I can get is 7.2MB up to 8.1 (which lasted less than 2 hrs...)

MT say it is distance from exchange (Governors Hill) yet friend on other side of street on Wimanx is getting 11+ another mate on the prom on Wimanx 14+

MT have changed socket in garage which helped a little and new router which did nothing so much for ADSL2
