Hilton Reverts To Palace

I suspect this is more to with Hylton not wanting to renew their franchise, the hotel is pretty rubbish.

I wonder how that will affect Livingwell? I enjoy my occasional swim and sauna.

Livingwell is to be flats nos. 246/7/8/9 and 10 and will be the luxury end of the development!

Hurrah !! Currently the worst exapmple of a Hilton in the world but possibly the best Palace hotel in the Isle of Man.

In fairness, while it's a pooor Hilton, I've been in worse, Glasgow & Nottingham spring immediately to mind.

Your right. I apologise. Its actually very good inside but lacks curb appeal given to its prominent beach/sea view position.

As part of their Casino License, don't they have to spend so much a year on upgrading the hotel. A few tins of paint, varnish & Brasso might be worth spending some of the money on.

Now that they don't have to pay any more for the "Hilton" franchise there should be more cash to do that sort of thing.

You are obviously missing the point that they will be getting considerably less bookings now that the Hilton group had withdrawn it's endorsement ...
