Iphone Help Needed

does anyone know how to completely turn off the internet on a Iphone 3g, but still be able to get onto the internet using wireless only.

 

just received my bill and didnt expect it to be using data but it is, i have already disabled 3g on it so cant work out why i still have data fees

 

any help would be great

Also delete the 3Gpronto (or whatever is showing) in the APN field

 

Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network >

Not a problem we have here in the US. Unlimited data plans.

I tried a 2gig plan on my iPad and it lasted me for 3 days!

 

I don't think that the AT&T iPhones even have the option to turn off cellular data.

:( I just got a 1200.00 bill,well pissed of,went away for weekend and must of left something on,and manx telecom said roaming is dear and tough shite,i feel like ive been spaked hard!

Holy shit man, what did you download, the entire internet? seriously this happened to a friend of mine and he ended up getting most of it refunded, you need it itemised and hound the life out of them,they have to be able to justify a bill like that on paper, if it is legit at least you will know were you went wrong and avoid it happening again, good luck
