puck my siles
5p/l 'off' vouchers at Tesco (Douglas) this week with little advertising hordings to go with it at the store. B......r-all use for the 99% of us not taking car across in the foreseeable future. Is there no manager with more than a grain of initiative at Douglas Tesco who could phone HQ, point out that there is no fuel facility here, and the natives might appreciate a more targeted offer on something else? Thought there were actually tanks already installed at Tesco. How would they get the stuff here though?

BigDave
Yeah, they must have seen one hell of a drop off in trade thanks to the roadworks there. That price drop practically writes off their entire profit per litre. They'll have to sell a shitload of fags and mars bars to make up for that one.

I'm going to have a guess at no. What price do you think they should be selling at?

scotiom
Just spend a fortune on fuel between business and my own car.. As much as I don't like the high prices I believe its wrong to blame any if the 2 local companies that import fuel as they have no control over the prices or the vat and duty hats added on
EORH
Went to put some petrol in this morning at Total Peel Road, it's shut, getting some repairs done, I noticed going past Milestone it was 140.9, so are the other Total stations dropping their prices?, something had to happen, because the oil is down to $107/108, and in the UK they will have dropped theirs.
