censorship
ahahaha spangle i do agree with you , but i finished work and was in the royal with a few mates spent £10 on 3 pints. that lasted me longer then normal. And left the royal around 12.30am Friday, and was walking past the old iron peer, up that big straight going out of ramsey. 2 coppers came out asking where i was at certain times and i said work and then the pub, put me in the van i was going to disagree although i was taller and bigger then both the cops but didnt want to get charged with anything so i went along. And was question about random things like times and where am i going in a suit at that time etc, just stupid things and got realsed under no charge, i was like WTF. I could of been in bed by now !!!!!!! If you were arrested, they must have had to give a reason to the custody officer upon arrival at the nick (they do it in front of you, while you are giving your details) - that would give you a clue about the offence you were being held in connection with. If you weren't arrested, there was nothing to stop you walking out at any point. If you stayed for four hours you must be a bit dim or enjoy police tea. And how did it take them four hours to ask where you had been and where you were going?
johnpdrummond
well by that i mena, they where in and out dealing with other people my guess is, and i must of looked like someone else or someone that had been reported. Tbh i was just very pissed off. I didnt get any of that talk about what ive done, i was just in the back of a van for 4 mins and in the police station, for questioning they said. If you didn't have the intelligence to just ask them what they were questioning you about they may have done you a favour - I would be worried about your ability to get home alone

Silentbob
There is much debate to be had about policing at night, granted there is an element of drunken violent yobs and hoodied miscreants about at night, but generally the police treat anyone who is out past midnight as drunk and incapable of remembering how they were mistreated. Doorstaff fit into this as well. I think if any area of the Police has become a bit of a paper tiger it is the traffic section. It is alarming how much anti-social and downright dangerous driving goes unpunished over here. The only time they seem to be efficient is TT week, I have not once seen a police car parked at the top of richmond hill which would be a goldmine for the government coffers. I think this is more a 'hands bound by policy' than the actual bobbies themselves. Pretty much like the DoI now I come to think of it

Ben Varrey
Impotent is a rather strange word choice. Why do you think that? Why do you find it worrying that a policeman looks at this forum I don't recall saying I was worried its a public forum and I can't say I've spotted much criminal activity on here? Well, that's cleared that up then!
Ben Varrey
I understand that a certain member of the police force sometimes visits this forum (which in itself is rather worrying). So, I would like to ask him a question: Have the police become too impotent to be effective within and for the community? You're the poorest troll I've seen in a long long time. 0/10 for effort. 10/10 for irrelevance
