Me_Want_Cookie
people are sleeping in tents because there's no hotels left for them etc. People have always slept in tents over TT that is nothing new.
Scotteo
I can't be alone in thinking that while I like the T.T. I can't help wondering if it's all worth it. As I type this the 2011 T.T. is only a few days in and already we have chaos and carnage on Manx country roads. Roads are closed all over the place and there's not even any practising on till tonight. Two elderly competitors (and their families) are wiped out, our Chief Minister has not spoken, marshalls are fed up, people are sleeping in tents because there's no hotels left for them etc. The national press will have a field day with the latest tragedy. Is it going to get any better ? Your ignorance and sweeping generalisation in this post is beyond belief but the highlighted section didn't half make me laugh. manxtopgun
Sleeping in Tents? Thats been going on for decades and adds to the TT experience. Think you find most people camping is their first choice. The national press will have a field day with the latest tragedy. Is it going to get any better ? - Dont you mean the International press? When Skies Are Grey
What a pointless article from a pretty pointless web site!
NikoB
Thoughts go out to all involved People are saying there was oil on the road Please stop this constant referal to your site. It's poor at best, and the speculative artical that the above links to is not informative, nor interesting, it comes across in fact as 'shit stiring'. it's ultimately inappropriate. In fact, the main issue I have with it, is the fact that you say ' people' are saying there was oil on the road, what people? Or is that just an excuse to link to your site? censorship
People are saying there was oil on the road That is terrible, terrible 'reporting'. I expect that sort of mindless shit from forums like this, but anyone claiming to be a news provider has to exercise more responsibility. The media is free to report, of course, but at least do some checking. Publishing groundless, unsubstantiated rumour is so irresponsible and, I'd imagine, hurtful to friends and family. I'm not suggesting for a moment anything should be swept under the carpet and it is the media's role to ask questions, but all that has happened here is that 'bloke in pub' stories have been published as 'news'
When Skies Are Grey
From a site that also lists this as news "this morning has also seen another relatively serious RTA resulting in a visiting rider from the UK needing emergency hospital treatment." its pretty consistant..... xbones
We need to ban Mount Everest. It is so dangerous!! http://www.rock-clim...everest-deaths/ WTF does that have to do with the IOM government allowing TT to happen though. We have no control over who does what on Everest. We can contol who risks their life at an event endorsed by our government here.
Tempus Fugit
People are saying there was oil on the road you're only off the boat a few weeks and started your own rumour mill give it a rest will you, there's much more informative news sites with a longer track record than your hobby site
