Declan 7,174
Get DJ Shadow on and I'll be down...... Now he was great at Bestival. But I doubt they'll get the Shadowsphere into the Court House.
Mission 1,108
£25 for Pendulum, sounds like a bargain to me. Although I will have to respectfully request that I be allowed to do my fat bloke dance to this on the stage... Get em booked, ignore the old farts further up in the thread. molly 95
as has been said earlier, i just can't imagine them and the punters in the courthouse, it would be a nightmare. the place is too small and badly set out. price seems fair i guess, think i just got old. Pierrot Lunaire 2,276
^^ See? You know that something's definitely passed it's best when the Germans have got into it......... ; ))
thebees 2,811
Hahaha they could easily be compared to A-ha. I had to stop it after 4 minutes Merkin, just too much noise and I don't like the singer either, strange really coz I thought I liked Pendulum, clearly the confusion between them and Chase and Status went deeper than I first realised
Merkin 1,051
Yeah they are are a noisy bunch.

pitch 4
I grew up with D&B - easily my favorite music. Not the charty Danny Byrd numbers played on Radio 1 but the high pressure spanners in a washing machine / industrial hoover vibe you would hear in the Brixton Academy. I see Pendulum as more of a live festival act these days with loads of instruments, huge visuals and a massive open air sound system. They are more at home rocking the Radio 1 stage at Glasto or a beach festival in Italy than downstairs at the Court House. No disrespect intended. Thinking about it, would they all even fit in the dj booth at the Court House? If you wanted to book a D&B act, you might consider Sub Focus, Bailey, Craze, Krust etc. I think it would go down a storm & believe that there is a definitely market for D&B on the IoM - there was one tent playing D&B and dubstep at Mannifest which was constantly packed. I know the people who run it if you need any warm up dj's... does this sort of stuff tick the boxes for you? http://soundcloud.com/drewstar/october2011-1/s-9XdkB i have been DJing DnB for many years and have had the pleasure of appearing on the DJ list with nights featuring names like Sub Focus, Simon Bassline Smith, Majistrate etc and would love to do a night here but the phrase pissin in the wind comes to mind
thebees 2,811
Awe, if I was 20 years younger I'd have a go at dancing to that
The Phantom 178
This would clearly be epic if they came over. If only there was Chav filtering on the door to make use of the excessive security presence there.

I will let him know before I get banned too. )
Cliff Hazard 228
nah, not into Pendulum myself. They're like a DnB act for rock fans, but of course it's all subjective isn't it? I just can't see it working in the Courthouse, it's too small. The Villa maybe, possibly. Too risky i reckon
