I saw studying as a way out of a pointless job. And it's more fun than earning money! It's education stuff mostly.

Who is Zephyr? Judging by what you just put on the Camera Obscura thread you were around in Victorian times, but apart from that...?

zephyr is a sour twisted old(ish) man.

I never got a good education (my fault entirely)

The stuff about Douglas head came from my Dad, who lived on the South Quay.

Sour and twisted, like the lemon after my gin.

What sort of education do you want? I've sneaked a look at some of your work on the Writer's forum. You have a vivid imagination and you can communicate your ideas. I think that's plenty!

I'm a bee-keeper.

I come from a long line of bee - keepers and had a few hives of my own when I was a child. My grandfather in Ramsey had 50 hives at one point during the early 1960s. He used to take them up to the heather. And his mother kept hives in Ireland. They were both, also, asparagus growers.

Are you really a bee - keeper ? Don't mock bee - keeping if you aren't. Otherwise the laws of bee - karma will get you. I'm serious. Ditto asparagus. My family were always been mad keen on that, too. You're dealing with ancient lore when you mess with bees or asparagus.
