To be fair, if drivers were to be considerate and leave enough space between cars when crawling around the island there would be no need for anyone to have to do multiple overtakes. In fact nobody wou

Have to say the amount of times you get flashed and horns blown while you pass 3-5 cars on the moutain is utter madness. yes you may like to do 30mph and all the others might well be 2 scared to overt

You consistently try to insult me and yet would like me to explain myself to you. Who are you exactly? Its becoming tiresome. You've assumed my post about "let my eyes wonder" means I take my eyes off

This will backfire on you my friend..... I have been observing this behaviour for a while and have come to the conclusion that my car is worth only about £500... presumably yours isnt. I dont give a shit if I clip your wing mirror or scrape the side of you. I'm not moving.

I'll just get another one. But the lesson will have been taught

Glad its not just me who hates being stuck in a crawl of cars/vans doing 40mph, It happens almost daily, I'll make good progress and then get stuck behind one car, which then i'll have a car catch me up, which then turns into three........and so on! Going from Ramsey to Port Erin at 40mph takes forever + I start to get fed up and let my eyes wonder after 2-3 miles of mind numbing 40mph drone!

Tough shit. Small vans are restricted to 50mph and larger vans 40mph, anywhere, including in front of you.

If the road is open and clear and your not passing im sure as hell will

I greatly admire the folk who vountarily pay extra excise duty and VAT by opening up the throttle and overtaking, then slamming on the brakes because they have caught up with the traffic in front. IMO they are the real numpties.

I love letting the beast lose when its a lovey day, the hood is down and the road ahead is clear. But I really cannot understand what the pleasure is in ending up 15 seconds earlier into Douglas.

More to life than that imo - as my hero said "I'm drinking wine and eating cheese, and catching some rays, you know."

Why does the beast have to lose, can't he win once in a while?

Mea culpa, Mac Keyboard syndrome strikes....or is it that my fingers are not made for typing?

But I have to keep the beast in check too...or should that be 'keep the beast in cheques too'?
