Bat Detecting Walk This Saturday In Ramsey

The Manx Bat Group is holding a public bat walk this Saturday 12th June starting at 9pm from Mooragh Park (next to the rugby club car park). Everyone is welcome to come along to learn more about bats and hopefully see and hear some bats in and around the park. Bat detectors provided on loan. Please wear warm clothes and walking shoes. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Just go down to Tesco or Shopshite first thing in the morning. All the old bats are there

I've got a dwarf bat coloney in my house here - some very rare ones Pipistrellus pygmaeus (mosquito bats). There are ~600 'normal' bats in the church.

I always suspected you had a few bats in your belfry.
