Tarne
It's dirt cheap, they're really sticking it to FlyBe. It was covered in this other thread http://www.manxforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/52637-ex-manx-airlines-boss-warns-of-danger/ I guess FlyBe are staying though, so it's cheap fares to Gatwick for everyone! Manx1Bloke
just hope onward and back connection timings work tho' 'cos what's the use of paying for cheap flights if you then have to pay for overnight stays at Gatwick?
myrtle bradley
We thought you were going Bloke1, we can't get the forum code right at all. Saying one thing means the opposite? Anyhow, we never use Easyjet to go to Liverpool and we dont gp to Gatwick so no benefit to us. We thought you might be a pilot! Douglas was cold this morning so we've come straight back. John Wright
Connection times are crap, and M1B what do you think You keep on starting threads, some with doctored web site cuts and pastes and ask people what they think. This isn't school and you aren't teacher nor is it a radio show where you are trying to get callers/interviewees to speak

Slim
Connection times are crap Agreed, looking at a trip now and the IOM flight arrives half an hour after the connecting flight leaves, bleh.
Nellie
What do you expect for £20, and when they're only using a plane which they haven't got anything better to do with for a couple of hours.... You can only come back on the days that suit EZY too. If you can make these largely unsuitable schedules work for your situation, then great, but for many people Flybe will still be the most appropriate, if not the cheapest, option Edited October 3, 2012 by Nellie
dave1978
Flybe reliability and punctuality is disgusting. I wont be using them again. Out of 21 flights they have been delayed on 14 occasions! When flying to Liverpool its so frustrating to see that the flybe flight before yours hasnt even left yet and then the easyjet announcement for boarding to the same place comes bang on time. Manx1Bloke
just checked EasyJet connections as examples - they fail on both counts. as IOM LGW on Monday 12 Nov arrive LGW at 17:45 and return on Monday 26 Nov departs LGW at 14:30 destination option A - Alicante no Monday flight after 17:45 have to o/n to catch 06:50 Tuesday morning coming back on Monday 26th the flight arrives at LGW at 12:40 = not enough time destination option B - Budapest no Monday flight after 17:45 have to o/n to catch 16:00 Tuesday coming back on Monday 26th the flight arrives LGW at 21:40 = too late. No EasyJet flights IOM/LGW route on a Tuesday so extra o/n expenses etc so EasyJet fails on easy or convenience of these two example destinations Who else has "EasyJet" destinations they would use if there were good connections? Can you get to Salzburg via Gatwick with Easy Jet in the winter midweek without a stopover? Have you a link to the new flight times? easyJet, Europe's leading low-fares airline, today announced a new route from London Gatwick to Salzburg in Austria. The new route, which commences on 13 December, will operate three times weekly and offer fares from just £32.99 one way including tax. i.e go from LGW on Sunday 13 Jan for £22.99 but 07:15 departure return Sunday 20th for £40.40 arrive LGW at 12:05 BUT no flight from IOM to LGW on a Saturday and teh LGW ? IOM Sunday return leaves LGW at 14:30 - so is that another failure for connectivity and ease?
