QT is Quentin Tarantino. The quote is from Pulp Fiction, possibly my all time favourite film.

For me it's Jackie Brown

Senseless.   Whoever did this should be facing a lengthy jail sentence for 50 cases of criminal damage. At least 3 years IMO.

But DIY does not necessarily equate to half arsed. Just as pro doesn't necessarily equate to, uuh, full arsed. A lot of the victims will be getting over this crime by now anyway. Which isn't by any means that heinous. It may even instil a sense of neighbourly solidarity. Get people talking to each other again with shared indignance. Hey! It's an act of selfless public service!

Meanwhile back in the real world:

"Police are looking to trace a dark hatchback as they continue to investigate the damage caused to around 70 vehicles in the south of the Island on Sunday evening.

The vehicles had what's believed to be some sort of solvent sprayed on them, ruining paintwork and melting plastic fittings.

Officers say the hatchback they're looking for had two 'L' plates on the rear and two on the bonnet, and was seen on the Honna Road junction with the Bradda Road at about 8:15pm."

And with all these cars damaged - no CCTV anywhere? Surely even one or two out of all those houses and maybe other premises nearby had CCTV monitoring their own premises? I know a few people that have installed it since having problems like this outside.

That sounds like a threat Fossils, can you account for your whereabouts on the night the damage occurred?

Somebody must recognise this car.
