RonnieD 242
More-or-less, with a licensed firm, scaffold is scaffold is scaffold. Time is the key. With bad weather and all that approaching, don't be taken into thinking you can do the jon in 4-6 weeks or whatever. The sting comes when you have to pay extra for each week it is up. Get more than one quote and see if you can have the stuff for as long as you need (within reason) with no additional charges especially if you are relying on builders to turn up. There is loads of scaffolding rusting away in the yards just now. They'd sooner it be used than not.

Augustus 366
Generally, the scaffolders compete to see who can leave the biggest mess when they are finished. Plastic ties left lying everywhere and all sorts of other rubbish lying around. It's apparently an unwritten rule in the Isle of Man that scaffolders are under no obligation to clean up their mess when they're finished.
cropduster 1
I've used Kinrade's Scaffolding and had to have it longer than expected and it seemed reasonable and they were happy to help.
