Graffiti Near The Governor's House

There is something wrong with you. It both has a 'fuck off English government' theme (welcome in the Island) and childlike fun about it. All good.

You might think it's funny, but what pan-Irish nationalists like "Mec Vannin" do is bring genuine Manx nationalism into disrepute. What does it matter to me which government they're telling to F off? I want all government, even Manx government, to F off, but it seems the boys at Mec Vannin are big fans of the Irish government. The reality is that they're pro-Irish anglophobes, not Manx nationalists.

They've got a point with the placement though. How much longer can we afford to put up a freeloading English tosser in a multi-million pound house with full staff, car etc. & £90K tax free salary,

The President of Tynwald does indeed get paid the same as a government minister - 50% on top of a Tynwald member's usual £37,822 ie £56,733. For that she has to chair Tynwald which is 11 plus days a

What a way to stick it to the man, shitty graffiti that nobody knows what it means. That will show them

If they had any sense, they'd graffiti the words you just wrote instead of graffitiing their own name. Even a 3 yr old can write their own name.

But they should write it in Manx. Nationalist graffiti should always be in Manx.

That would be even more impractical, imagine a paint brush in one hand with a copy of Cregeen's in the other, trying to look up the word for tosser with a paint tin handle in your mouth - all this at a time when police are patrolling the 24 hrs & there are potentially tens of thousands of bikers staggering home from the pub.

Incidently, I may be wrong but I don't think Mec Vannin have ever claimed to be nationalists or particularly acted as such, it is just a label that has been attached to them.

"Mec Vannin, the Manx Nationalist Party"

Also, not sure how their policy agenda could be described as anything but nationalist!

I don't care what other people say, but I have found that he's a really nice guy and his wife Catherine is also nice too.

If the point is for being independent, then I can't see this being taken seriously unless people want Mr Bell as President? Thought not.
